Sh17!! My Witty-Sig-O-Matic is on the fritz again. There, that should do it. Percussive maintenance makes the world go 'round, you know. Blues, squares, PTiger Witty-Sig-O-Matic says "ow"

You want us to believe you got a blister on your hand from doing yardwork? Yeah right! I bet you read Freaksister's post and got all excited... Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here* -
Well, it's more of an issue of "is it broken?" There are lots of ways to assemble and design parachute gear. Some of them are less idiot-proof than others. Example: Some rigs allow the harness ring to fall down after the 2 riser rings have been released. This shouldn't be a problem because everyone is supposed to LOOK at their reserve handle before they yank on it. However, that's not always how it happens; a post here a while back mentioned that during suspended harness training, people were hauling on that harness ring as if their life depended on it. Just because people didn't follow instructions doesn't mean we shouldn't modify gear to reduce the possibility of that mistake. I'm not saying you're wrong or that riser grommets need to be modified (I can't quite visualize the issue at hand), it's just that any modification that reduces the possibility/catastrophic potential of human error is worth looking into. I disguised myself as a whuffo this weekend. Drove 500 miles to Kentucky, met up with uncles, aunts, and cousins I hadn't seen in a year or two, ate a lot, took a cave tour, drove some go-karts, slept a lot, and drove back home. I'll post the ¿exciting? pictures sometime soon... Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

All reserves must pass TSO, so as long as it was manufactured under the latest TSO it's reliability and quality are the same as any other reserve (unless other reserves are tested past TSO...?). Don't know about "manners," but in addition to that you may want to check with your rigger to see what he/she thinks of packing it into your rig....... Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

Happy Hour is a chat session open to all registered users. It's lots of fun to talk in realtime (as opposed to refreshing the forums every 3 minutes) but sometimes you can get left behind! At any rate the Pub still has May 23rd listed as the next Happy Hour, so I was curious about the actual schedule... Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

Wow, there's an amazing variety of music taste here... I can tolerate pretty much anything except country music and the most hard-core rap (e.g. Ruff Ryders). Oddly enough that's the only stuff no one has mentioned.... Props to anyone who mentioned Buffett and Art of Noise! Thanks for reminding me; those two will be next into the player. And when I get home, I'm going to have to put some of my mp3's (over 3000 at last count - did I go a little overboard? ) onto a CD to listen to here. I wish I had an mp3 player like skybytch's, then I could burn my collection onto discs and bring it to work! Not that it really matters since I'm quitting in 3 days! Summer school, here I come!! Yo Head Honcho! Will you open up the pub for another happy hour tomorrow night, or were we too rowdy last week? Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

You don't actually need a parachute to go skydiving. You just need one to skydive again. Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

Now now, you can't just tease us like that and not share! Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

Diplomas are overrated... I hear that some engineering degrees are mostly obsolete 7 or 8 years after you've graduated. But Enthusiast status lasts for another 250 posts!! Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

I've heard a lot of people on this forum talk about how they're not getting any. We need to set up a DZ.com boogie so we can all get drunk, get laid, and then stop moaning and get back to skydiving!! Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

If you bail early you'll regret it! You're going to want the money. Tough it out man... Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

Freaksis, you are TOO MUCH!! I could never admit in public that I masturbate in the shower. Er, uh... forget I mentioned that. Yeah, and there's no reason for anyone to be suspicious of me taking a 20-minute shower at the DZ. I just move really slow in the mornings. Er, um, don't take that the wrong way either. But yeah, like I was saying, High Priestess Freaksis can come to the DZ.com forums and get all the praise she wants because she's frikkin CL. Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here* PS Is there any news on the Freaksister World Tour? Cities, dates, possible opening acts, sponsorships, etc? Remember Pammi, there are no stupid questions. Only stupid people who make smart-ass remarks about people who ask questions. Well, that's sort of an interesting subject all in itself.... The short answer is "Yes." The full answer is "Not at the moment." I'll go back in the fall as a first-semester sophomore, which is unremarkable except for the fact that I graduated high school 3 years ago this month. Freshman year was the longest 3 years of my life!! Blues, squares, PTiger *insert witty sig here*

Now if only you could get an EXTreme VX for your flight simulator. They might let you jump one if you have enough "seat time" accumulated.... Blues, squares, PTiger

You know, us paranoid people might not get out much, we might not have too much fun, and we may not even have fully functional brains, but at least we're safer than all of you cautious people!! Blues, squares, PTiger

Alrighty, I'm taking off!! I'm going to watch the mighty Princeton Tigers crush UCF at the College World Series sub-regional. THANKYOUTHANKYOU NCAA for putting the Tigers in my hometown, if only for a day or two! After that I'm off to Kentucky for lots of relative work. Y'all have a great time this weekend, and avoid driving if you can - all those drunk fucke*s are going to be on the roads. On the other hand, go skydive all you want to!!! Blues, squares, PTiger

I've been on a big Beatles kick the past 3 days, just listened to the '62-'67 and '67-'70 collections over and over. "I once had a girl, or should I say, she once had me?" Before that it was RCHP's Blood Sugar Sex Magik - "I could have lied, I'm such a fool..." - and before that it was Moxy Früvous' Live Noise. And the band played on, As the helicopters whirred, Drunk on the lawn In a nuclear dawn My senses finally blurred. Nothing quite like a good drinking ballad! Blues, squares, PTiger PS Right now I have Blind Melon stuck in my head: "When you feel your life ain't worth living you've got to stand up and take a look around you then look way up to the sky. And when your deepest thoughts are broken, keep on dreaming boy, cause when you stop dreamin' it's time to die."

My site is terribly unorganized, so I put up a dummy index with my favorite quote. If you go to my pictures sub-page you can see some of the older stuff. Keep an eye on that site, I'm going to do a major update in the next month. I'll post when something significant goes live. For kicks, you can check out the Princeton Sport Parachute Club site, although I haven't touched it since March. Blues, squares, PTiger

Well, you said the f-word 5 times in that post, so I'm thinking somebody owes A LOT of beer! j/k.. according to the beer rules first jump is not a mandatory purchase but it is strongly encouraged. Blues, squares, PTiger
