Wow That is the skydiver spirit - spread the love. Yet, what happened to the King Air?? ~AirAnn~

Punch yourself in the back, both left and right of the spine. A doctor will place his hand over each kindey and 'tap' if it hurts, -there you go. If it hurts like HELL. Its not muscle pain. ~AirAnn~

Well, slap my momma- I have never packed. I have tried, but my wrists suck real bad and it becomes painful when doing some packing details. Another problem with my wrists is I cant wait all day hangin on the outside bar. In fact, I have come real damn close to losing it and taking all of us out on count 2 many times. One God skydiver here in Houston gave me his 'sticky' baseball gloves to try. (NO!! he really is a skydiving God, believe that) The gloves helped me hang on better. The over all feeling I got from not packing all these years has remained pretty constant. You suck, you are a lozer, you are inferior and then I get the rolling of the eyes. I noticed that (by those unknown to me) I was lumped in with a small group of non packin women that tends to indicate they are too delicate and might break a fingernail if they packed. Now, sloowly that has evolved to I am too good to pack. Yet this is a tiny population of persons, last I checked. A couple of girls I noticed are real proud of the fact they have some hired hand doing it. That is another thing I dont want to be associated with. I wish I could pack. I have missed quite a few loads because I cant. However, I wouldnt trust any pack job done by me. Again, I have tried, but abandoned the project for a professional. My man is familiar with my canopy and can make that dang thing act right. Worth more than $5 to me. ~AirAnn~

Oh how awesome great!! You realize that the person thought a good bit about you and your kindness before he said thanks. At this time, I am in search of a late modle Chevy, maybe a blue color with a Texas/Hispanic man owner. I was running up and down the streets screaming bloody murder one night in as the dogs got out a hole in the fence. All the dogs match, Skeet is almost totally black and at night he could easily get hit by a car. The man who drives this truck saw me running barefooted with 6 leashes stopped me and said the dogs were 1/4+ mile thataway. He told me he would take me there, I jumped on his truck bumper and we hauled ass to where the babies where. They were 3 or 4 houses from a major busy Houston street. Now that I have calmed down, I have been looking for him to stick a thank you note on his truck and a bag of cookies. Skeet can push fence boards out so easy. If he jumps on the boards to nip at the cat or kill a possum the loose boards can fall out. He is so big and strong this escape happens every once in a while. This man is the FIRST man besides my regular guy (the mailman) who has helped me. The Home Owner Association Nazi president locked them up once in his fruking back yard. He saw me looking for them each time I past his house and said nothing. HIS neighbor came over to me and whispered that the man had them. The Nazi told me he called the dog police and I could not have them back. I got them back. I just kept telling the guys to come on while I stared at the Nazi and Skeet started jumping on the mans gate and breaking it. Oopsie You dont keep a Mother from her children. Mothers will go into a strange fury whereby nothing can stop the madness. The possibility of me ripping his carotid artery out was eminent. You are supposed to help thy neighbor. ~AirAnn~

Well you would think I would be screaming outrage about this but nope. I only think moderation should be observed. I think the example of the Cat - Fish is great but I fear a little too much dye. Its possible it washes out so that is a bad as Art-Cat. I guarantee this, either sedatives were involved or the painting/dye was real hard to do. My Shih Tzu (Olav ZipsTer) has a Mohawlk of about 4 inches with the last 1/2 inch dyed Manic Panic After Midnight Blue. The rest of his head hair is about 1/2 inch long. His head is black with a perfect white stripe down the middle. Just screaming for a mohawlk. Folks say he looks like the mean gremlin in the movie Gremlins. Tish and Snooky of Manic Panic have been animal lovers and have done animal rescue work all their lives. In celebration of 25 years of counter-culture cosmetics and hair color, they organized a benefit concert and auction honoring the Rescue dogs of 911, and benefiting the Suffolk County SPCA (the group that organized the Canine Search and Rescue operation at Ground Zero). The incredibly successful event was made possible with the help of friends and customers such as Debbie Harry, Alice Cooper, The B-52's, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, Steven Tyler, Talking Heads, The Heart sisters, Cindy Adams, Wynonna Judd, Ace Frehley (Kiss), Iggy Pop, Bernadette Peters, Denis Leary, members of Danzig, The Dictators, The Go-Gos, Joan Jett, Matt Dillon, Nicole Miller, Rue McClanahan, Todd Oldham, Valerie Harper, members of Blue Oyster Cult, members of the Bongos, Annie Golden, members of Patti Smith Band, and the Star Spangles. Tish and Snooky's dog Daisy has been the MANIC PANIC® mascot for years, and still comes to work every day at the warehouse. She and Snooky were in the movie Diehard III (with Bruce Willis). Daisy was tinted pink (with MANIC PANIC® Hair Color) for her scene in which she played frisbee in NYC's Tompkins Square Park. My camera batteries are dead or I would include a picture of ZipsTer. Zip is a wild man, the only long haired baby I have. A unique guy; one of six. ~AirAnn~

yep... Tx rocks indeed... SCR 14345 And, its ALL ABOUT the ceremony. Face the Alamo, maggot! Oh man.... Myself and 3 big guys froze all our balls off in the middle of winter during our ceremony. Those were the days. I was a total green horn. I even went so far to actually speak during mine. I only wanted to say to SCOTTY CARBONE "Hey, you cant talk to me like that." That didnt work out too good. ... Oh yeah little missy???, (wink) Extra Splaaa - Asssh on that maggot slut... I thought everyone was my friend and here they are calling me names. I figured I landed on the wrong planet. I would like to see what my face looked like when I found out momentarily not everything was going to be sweet peaches and daisy chains. Afterwards, I felt much closer to all the skydivers. Now via the miricle of white t-shirts everyone had seen me half nakid. Whos idea was it that I wear that shirt anyway?? ~AirAnn~

Stop this now, grinding halt... This nice gentleman made this post because he felt it was the thing to do. I admire that in a BIG way. I have read WrongWays posts in many areas of this fourm and I find him to be fair and intelligent in almost every instance. (didnt read the malfunction post) The only malfunction I have ever had was packed by a person who hated me. (Line over, serious spin cycle) I am absolutley not saying she did it on purpose now or ever. At the time it never occured to me that a person could / would ever do that. But the statement is indeed a fact. I did have a malfunction and I did not pack it myself. The words "hated me" are my words and maybe she just disliked" me. I skydive, I dont take surveys on my popularity. Whatever WrongWay said ... he is posting now to clear something up. A person should not just barge into another guys appology post to smash him in the face yet again. I am a very nice person and I am sure JazzJumper that you are nice too. But the wording here in your post is pretty evil-like. Jazz, I am honestly sorry for your 4-way incident and I hope you, your group, and the person who made the mistake are ok. I am sorry I am upset at your post cause now I missed 75% of Voyager and I have not seen this one. I am sorry if you are mad too. I am sorry for everyone who should be sorry. Ok, I am posting sorrys for everyone so that should clear everyone up. Now, everyone go to bed and have sweet dreams that you are not sorry for. ~AirAnn~
-
Well, that was interesting.... and its about right too, I guess. I fall on swords for other folks all the time. It usually hurts and gives me acid indigestion. Rather my pain than yours. I gotta go Voyager is on, I am in love with The Doctor. ~AirAnn~

Here is a topic right up my alley. Liquid Gold? If it saves your life - then it is liquid platinum. Or more like liquid life. Cipro says bye bye to many critters and its kinda like a little machine gun. There are more who kick Major ass and are more like napalm. Biaxin, Zipromax .... etc. and they cost plenty. When your body bugs get immune to one drug you have to change it for the big guns. (Public Service Announcement) You must go the whole course with antibiotics. If you taper off and get sick again those varmits that made you sick may not respond again to that drug. Constant taking of antibiotics will leave you without a cure for what you need antibiotics for. (I hope that makes sence) A person (and a Dr) should let the bodies immune system give it a shot first. For many reasons, blah blah... As for Zoloft, just take it. Ask your Dr for samples of Zoloft, its still being given out that way. My Dr and I split pills and even capsules. My Rx's per month is $827.56 and I have no Insurance. I have to take these everyday. I cant afford the cost of these medications and I can not afford to do without them. So... some drug companies have a way in which your Dr can fill out papers to the effect that 'AirAnn is an uninsured broke ass skydiver and needs assistance with her medications'. Then, I have to bust out income tax crap, assets and living expenses to fill out papers that proves I cant afford jumps or their highly expensive medications. Papers go back and forth and they either send my Dr. stock bottles of meds with my name on them or I get a coupon for my local pharmacy. (ps. Skydiving stuff isnt an asset, its a necessity, dont list it) The paperwork for the medications is copious and recurring. The trade off is that I get the non FDA approved medications for free and we report how I do. Serious paperwork, I double guarantee it. The drug companies dont like to give away drugs or the coupons. Believe It. Benefits like this are very hard to get and that is why we ask for more than what my treatment dose currently is. We turn around and report the actual doses, of course, in order for the Drug company to track my illness. Nevermind what we put on the paperwork, they know good and well what we ask for and what we use. The doses change also so this is acceptable. One or two of the Drug Companies we deal with are ultra big time stengee with frerkin coupons, SO we split meds. Example: one coupon that reads: Free one month supply of a Serious Drug. 200mgs, or 300mgs or 600mgs. .. We would write the scrip for 600mgs. And we then divide the pills down to my proper dose. This can spread my Rx's out for 2 or 4 months. Depending on if we change the dose during the course of treatment or not. One of these coupons saves me $299 a month and the other $96.57. Another sampled one is $215.99. those they send directly to my Dr for me, and so on. While I am at my appointment, we chat and fill up my weekly boxes. These grandma boxes are the ones that say Monday-Sunday on them. I have 2 boxes, one painted black for night and one for the morning. We separate the capsules and dump the granules or crack the pills accordingly in the daily squares. This way... I will not get mixed up nor will I have to think about it. And more importantly, we can see if I miss any. You cant manage 6 types of medications and their progress if you dont know if they are taken exactly perfect. The cocktail has to be the same to avoid strange report variables. In one instance, my dose is 24 granuals of XYZ capsule drug in the am. That is some exact science sports fans. With my litte boxes it helps so much- It wouldnt work butchering up capsules and pills 2 times a day anyhow. I must include here that over my lifetime NO Dr. went that extra step to help a sistah out. Nor was it ever mentioned that any system like this exhisted. I formerly waltzed in got a paper prescription that I couldnt pay for and left. Perfect, I had the cure in hand, yet I couldnt fill the Rx. A Dr might miss 2 or 3 other appointments just ferkin around with the stack of papers that allow my medications to be dispensed to me free. My current Dr mentioned this process to ME. Now..., there are Drs and there are Drs.... **Did you know that about 50% of all Drs graduated in the lower 50% of their class. ??** Now, about fibbing a little on the Rx, if you will, .. .we write the scripts to get the maximum amount of medication. YET, our responsibility for recieveing the drugs is to report back. THAT is done exactly as I take them for everyones records. In addition, I have to keep a journal on how I am doing everyday. It usually reads... I dont feel like doing the dishes. I wish I was skydiving... so, I keep up my end of the bargan and the drug companies are happy. (I am thinking they dont read it) Note: For anyone in a bind and in need of drugs, I can tell you how to go about the assistance programs with many drug dealers. You can start the program running without your Dr. Later, you will need he/she to fill out a part and include some records. The doctor will send them off for you. At least you can obtain the paperwork for your very busy Dr. While writing this long ass post, I went outside to check on a puppy - I twisted my ankle looking up for blue sky. .... Tylenol beleive it or not samples packets to the general practitioners. I really need to fill up that hole with dirt. The cat will poop in the fresh dirt so I never did it. Clearly I need a doctors supervision at all times. I will go mow the yard before my ankle starts to hurt worse and swell. -No worries, I am used to it. ~AirAnn~

I know one dude who would get a 'lift' home from his pilot friend. One night he interupted a little league baseball game. He just borrowed their lights and field for a minute while he landed his canopy. He was meeting his brother in the parking lot. Who knew they had a game that night? Now that is small town Texas, friends. I rode my horse thru the Dairy Queen drive up, but that was normal. ~AirAnn~
