Skymedic- I think we spoke of this before and I totally hear you. Absolutley. When I found out about the tumor I have on my pituitary gland -basically right in the center of my head behind my eyes. Then I saw it on MRI, then they told me what damage it could do and what it had done already... I got real - real fast. Before that, when they whacked off parts of my breast cause they had funky growths there. And I saw those on Breast Ultrasound, Whamo... I got really real and my shyt got into perspective. I still need some more removed but it can wait a minute I try to limit myself to one crisis at a time. Health is the most important thing. Physical and Mental. You are absolutley correct on that point. I would rather have my health perfect than my home. But I dont have that option at all. I gotta live for as long as I can with stuff not exactly perfect. I have to deal with all the side effects of the condition and the side effects of the medications. Luckily I know enough Drs that most of my medications are given to me in sample form. Except for two. So I hear you and I can relate to you to a certain extent that I do have a tumor in my head and some other conditions that require constant meds to shrink this and to replace the thyroid juice that the tumor killed. I am going to get my 41 year old ass up every day and act like I am 10 years old and color in a coloring book if I want. Or plant a plant. Grow a seed. Play with my animals and just plain live my life as best I can. Take a nap and get up and do it again. You however have something that I wish I could take away forever from the face of the earth. But I cant change that anymore than I can poke a stick up my nose and make the tumor go away. One of my favorite songs that I remember in bad times is by that band Chambawanga or something like that. I get knocked down ... But I get up again ... You're never going to keep me down .... I guess I put a happy face on and move along - to the question is your glass half full or half empty... - My glass is too big. I keep my life simple as to important stuff and I stay true to things I have promised my self. After that I make up stuff everyday to get thru it all. I have this Aunt - Aunt Dot, who has never said a negative word in her life, one of the most enthusastic persons I have ever met. I want to be like that. Skycat thank you for the cat morsels, Sister and Oscar are eating dog food, but they kinda like it. What sacares me is that Olav ZipsTer is eating large breed puppy food and then going out in the atrium and drinking some miracle grow plant water. Now if he gets too big to jump with me that is going to be a damn shame. Or I can use Levins giant base rig canopy. Stay in the medical field likely no, its not what it used to be. I can do anything. I am smart like that. I got into the medical filed by accident, I applied for a job and they asked me if I could take a blood pressure... I said, Of Course!!, all you have to do is show me how... and I got the job. I worked my way up from doing blood pressures and urinalysis to administration. And I have maxed out the medical field. I truely can do anything I try... I can even likely sell your grandmother a skateboard. I like sports alot. The only thing I can not sell is something I dont believe in. As far as office work- I am all over it. Nothing new there. I can do it all and run an office by myself, If I have to, done that. I type really fast and can take dictation. Huraaaaaaahhhhhhhh for home ownership. (dont lose your job sweetness or it gets ugly) Yahooo on the lawnmower mine is really neat it runs over great dane poop with no worries. I love to plant stuff I have seeds sprouting all over next week I will be planting all kinds of stuff. Yellow Bells, Lavendar, Rosemary, Peppers, My yard is ALIVE... I like vines, and rainforest looking stuff. This year, if I get to keep the house and get a cool job) I will make a rain forest and finally put a swing in the big oak in the back yard. Ants are pests however.... my neighbor who is a vampire and works only at night... is really cool... he kills them for me in the front right yard. The guys on the left think Skeet tastes like Chicken. NOT.... gotta keep an eye on that fence. Hope it doesnt break down. MountainMan & Quick Draw: I did forward a resume to him and I hesitate to think that I could get the worlds most wonderful job. That would be like a princess fairy dream.

My father believes that skydivers are just trashy people. He has always thought I would never amount to anything. And he calls sometimes and sends emails sometimes that continue along thses lines of you are a lozer always have been. I doesnt matter how many metals or awards I get for milestones I pass or what magazine I get in for doing good deeds. To him it only matters if I am making huge money and I go to work everyday from dawn till dusk. Well, this last year has been hell for myself and with my family relations. I dare not mention that skydiving is the best self confidence builder I have found. My family believes that I am a lozer who can not hold down a job. Last night I wrote to him the happiest news I have had in a very long time - I got this email back.... Its a wonder I have the lowest self estem on the planet. Donations in any form are not illegal, AirAnn is non profit. And I will have to report the totals. Guess who doesnt believe I am smart enough to know that. I dont understand my parents and they dont understand me. Thats common, but the spirit in which my note was sent to him was "this is so nice" the sprit in which he sent me his note is something else. I cant imagine what to say now... I do not know the words to explain why I am crying my head off. I wont give up on the house, I need it for other people to stay here and for my animals to have a habitat. I almost gave up on myself here today. I spent the entire morning sending out resumes and after that, I just crawled back in bed with all 3 little guys -they knew stuff was wrong, especially Skeet. He never left my side. At this point, I have to say that I am so overwhelmed that its beyond any kind of wording that I can come up with. Just know this - This effort of my extended family, which I am closer to than my real family is making a difference. My heart is just very emotional right now. I have never asked for help before. I am the one who helps other people -that skill I know how to do. For as long as I live, I will never forget any-one of you. I am so very moved at this extreme showing of thoughtfulness. Dan is going to put a type of measurement to be able to tell if we meet the goal the lawyers have set for me. The only thing now is will it be enough and will it be in time. On April 7th it will be just one month before the forced sale of my home. (5 days after my birthday) For my birthday I want/need a good job. Please pray for a miracle. I would like to say that my house is being foreclosed on and will be up for sale on May 7th. And at that point I will be totally homeless with my animals. But I dont want to admit it. I dont want to face it and I dont want to ask for help. I dont know anyone who can help me. Good news is I have some jump tickets lieft over from last year at both drop zones. But I will still be homeless. If you feel like it a friend put a PayPal thing on my site for donations of a dollar or two. It will help. But I need everyone to pray for a miracle fast!! I wear smelly stuff, 274, or 360 or Vic Sec stuff in a pink bottle. at the dz I just about kiss and hug everyone, habit I guess... One guy never fails to say You ALWAYS smell good. Now about the other stuff makeup etc, I dont do it... Its just me AirAnn, I slap some body butter on but thats about it. If I look extremely washed out a tiny bit of pink on my cheeks works. But its off after the first jump and nobody cares anyway. There is a certain kind of chapstick that my friend sends me from NC and I use it. It used to be that my chin would get windburned. Now I have a chin cup so... For a long timeand you may see it in some videos/pictures I jumped with long fingernails. This I cant help, my grandmother had long fingernails hard as rocks. I inherited them and got a Vietnamese lady to take care of them for me. Now she would yell to the high heavens everytime I came in there.... What you do?.. You skydive? ...What you do? ...Ahhhhhmmmmmmmmm...NO, ....I fixed, Now what you do? You do this??? No I fix.... I fix but you skydive... What you do this? Everytime I fix...? Well, needless to say the only thing I had done was a french manicure cause corp america seems to need the execs to have this feature. But the polish gets banged up when I work in the yard and skydive. The lady and I had differences of opinion about these things. I wanted the nails to look good but I also wanted to go out and be ruff and tuff. I think she wanted me to sit at home and look at my fingernails. Now, I have since got a helmet hair cut, cause my hair would get all ratted up -(should have been there when i explained what I needed to my hair lady...) And I wear just a tan. I know how what you are saying sister, I feel you. (Everyone Jump for the Cause, please.) I haed a weirdness in my right breast and the area had to get removed asap. I wanted it done right then! All the what ifs that go thru your head are/is the worst part. I had to wait till the next day... working for Drs has its advantages. Driving home after the initial testing of said area. And I know that Huh, and Hummmm.... then they spend alot more time with the breast ultrasound than you think is necessary. Well anyway, had it cut out and its groovey.... Now I get to look forward to having 2 more dut out. And its way not cool - cause they dont even put anything back in after they take stuff out. A cotton ball - something. but in the end everything gets nice again. I couldnt even find the scar the other day. So this too shall pass, and you know your karma is good. #1 I am not reading all this cause I am an idiot and have no idea of what you say. #2 Caopy shyt has happend to me TWICE July 28th, landed in turbulance and high winds sorta..right nest to tall ass pine trees. 1st camera jump == 4.5 fractures, knee blown out, and some other stuff. LAST Sunday- 21-23 mph ground winds. Jumped on 5 min call, put on rig over clothes. (explains my freeflying)..... =CAMERA HOUSING IS CRACKED UP, F**k Concussion mild, neck compression, right knucke ding, right lower leg scraped and bruised, left ankle sprain, blah , blah... I pulled, I started to the dz, I was hauling ass. I started to turn to the landing area and I sailed passed it losing altitude like a cemet truck. See the attached from my camera. Most are taken 5 frames apart then ONE frame apart, I felt it, just like July 28th and thats it, you are going in and thats the end of that. You will either get hurt or only damaged, but it could be bad. Thats all you think about. Look at my helmet! Dnag it you cant see anything good from this - I will fix it. I have already fixed the idea of wind and building turbulance compounded by plain ole high windage turbulance. I will likely still jump in winds. I can back up and land off anyeay. But... you can see the results. Note* there are exceptions to stuff I will jump in. But then I did jump in hail...... No really, I am ok, and I dont jump in just anything....
