King kept me company for a bit while we were waiting on a load ( then he got distracted by a couple of ladies that were doing a tandem). If I met Jake and Chuck they were evidently being uncharacteristically nice. Needed to stay current so I took the drive to Raeford and all i can say is ... what a great bunch of folks. I am terrible with names so I won't even go out on that limb. They made me feel comfortable right from the start. There are local exhibits and lots of looking around stuff to do. if you like whitewater you could schedule some great rafting on the New or Gauley. The number of employees at my former place of employment went from around 300 to just over 20. Our department went from 35 to 2 and for our supervisor that just meant that there were fewer targets. We also have the RCI/Fairfield thing. Own twice in Fl and once somewhere else ( can't remember without the paperwork. We have never stayed at the ones we own. ON eof the ones in FL is close to the mouse, I think. THe only problem we seem to have is getting time away to use all of our points and finding somewhere that is available on short notice. Notice my ultra-low jump number and no license yet According to the BSR I must pull by 3000 and depending on the spot I shoot for 3500. haven't gone ( or ended up below ) that yet. During the safety day canopy/safety presentation our presenter was talking about those who like to "go low". His take on it was that higher gives you more options and in a bad spot or mal situation options are a good thing. this just made sense to me.
