Hey Ivan, is there a record for what subject has been reposted the MOST times in this forum? No offense to CajunDude but this one is definitely a contender... Elvisio "still funny though" Rodriguez

Oh GOD, grade school. Read as: Boner Hell. Still young enough that I'm trying to figure out what the FUCK is going on to cause these things to happen, and all I know is that he's poppin' his head up to say "hi" all the fuckin' time... "No ma'am I'd prefer not to change classes at the moment, I'll just sit through the next group's math class as well to make sure I understand how to multiply fractions very well." Elvisio "needed anti-viagra" Rodriguez

I don't find it too embarrassing anymore, but you need to put yourself in the "teenage" frame of mind. Imagine how this would have felt at age 17: I'm on a pseudo-first-date with a friend-maybe-thinking-about-being-more-than-friends type chick. We did the usual teenage date stuff for my small town (it was a triple date) everybody goes to dinner, hits a movie, then we hung out at one of the home of one of our buddies for a while. So it's time to roll to get her home on time and just because she's a sweet girl she calls home to check in. Parents say watch the roads because it's getting really foggy. Funny, it was clear as a bell where we were. On the way to her place the air turned into the thickest soup I have ever seen. A

Bingo. On the other hand, any gaffs that DO come up will be worth double because it means that whatever candidate screwed up isn't smart enough to read the Teleprompter. Elvisio "making other plans for the evening" Rodriguez

hehe... I thought the SAME thing when I was on the treadmill at the gym... "kids? At a sewage plant opening? WTF?" Elvisio "glad I wasn't the only one" Rodriguez

I don't know why, but to ME, sleeping with someone who is in a "committed relationship" and somebody who is MARRIED are very different things. I think it's the "swearing before God" thing. Karma is a wheel. What goes around, comes around, and usually picks up speed on the way. Elvisio "don't mess with the Big Guy Upstairs" Rodriguez

Oh... My... God. So I'm watching the commercial telling myself "it's one of those fake commercials" and expect that at any minute Regis will laugh and say "no, I didn't make an album but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night" or maybe the energizer bunny would come stomping through. But it's true: he made a damn album. Old crooner stuff like "It Had to Be You" and "When You're Smiling". I think this is one of the signs of the Apocalypse. Right before the sky turning to sackcloth and hordes of locusts... Elvisio "checking Revelations" Rodriguez

Screaming Nazi. The Three Horsemen. The Patriot Missle. The Hairy Gorilla. ANYTHING with Jagermeister in it. You know, I'm getting old. I hit the big 3-0 next month, and I'm finding that my body is slowly falling victim to the ravages of age; I get a little creakier every time I get out of bed, and all sorts of weird stuff goes wrong on this three-decades old body from time to time. But ONE nice thing about being this old is that I NEVER have to drink any of those stupid nasty shots any more... Elvisio "age before beauty, oh wait I'm first in both cases" rodriguez

Back in school we used to call that one the Cement Mixer. Everyone who has ever been on a crawl damn well better have had a Barmat served to them. Not very intoxicating, not very nasty tasting, but it's the principle of the thing, ya know? Elvisio "thank God we got through that part of life" Rodriguez

My plan is to wait another couple of years, then buy the COMPLETE box set with all six episodes when it comes out (I'm guessing it'll be ready for Christmas 2005). Of course, at the rate things are going, I'll need to mortgage my internal organs to be able to pay for it... Elvisio "57 more E-Z payments and it's all mine!" Rodriguez

there are a couple coasters at the Six Flags in VA that use this same principle, pretty fucking sweet I must say! I've never been much for roller coasters since I started jumping, but Area 51 and Volcano (I THINK that's what they're called) kick ass. I think the system works with electomagnets, a-la-rail gun. Is that right? Elvisio "good stuff" Rodriguez

Wow dude, by that weekend you'll only have been married for a week and she's already 100% controlling your life. She works quick! Elvisio "no you don't know me but I swear I'm really a nice guy" Rodriguez

Just drop them when you do it. Once or twice should do the trick. Elvisio "starting to use too many smilies" Rodriguez

Which differs from your current plan of attack... how? So easy, almost too easy... it might be a trap. elvisio "fish in a barrel" Rodriguez

Anyone wanna help with an internship in their company?
skydiver30960 replied to Hazarrd's topic in The Bonfire
Remember the Seinfeld episode where Kramer had an intern? I think the company's name was Kramerica, wasn't it? Well, I could offer you the same sort of deal here. You could come over, do my laundry, cook my meals, make arrangements for me to hang out with my friends, etc. Given that you're in business/economics you'd get a great exposure to defecit spending, shady business practices, and build up an awesome resistance to molds and fungus that would be very helpful in any developing nation you may visit in the future. Please forward me a resume with references if you are interested. Yours; Elvisio "CEO, LVCO Enterprises" Rodriguez -
Yeah, it's a really cool premise that the TV producers have destroyed by treating it like a reality show. Before, it was a pretty cool competition. Now, it's televised with extra emphasis on "the passion of the moment" and "the agony of defeat" and the crying and arguing teammates. Fak, I REALLY hate reality TV. elvisio "too early, still grumpy" Rodriguez

Calling all Stephen King Dark Tower series readers!
skydiver30960 replied to moodyskydiver's topic in The Bonfire
Well, I just finished it. Perfect day for it with Jeane dumping what's left of her fury on my little part of the Keystone World. I'm really happy with the way things ended. The scope of the DT project was incredible and I was worried because I felt like King was getting off the track in a couple of the previous volumes in particular, but here in this last installment he seemed (in my opinon) to find a flavor of the first book and really bring the story full circle. Without a doubt, I would rank this final installment as my second-favorite in the series, after the impossible-to-beat Part I. Some may not like the way the book (and series) ends, but I'm really pleased with it. In the end, it holds true to the feeling I got from the first time I read the first volume. Elvisio "traveller, beyond lies mid-world" Rodriguez -
Who will win the election, I'll go with this.

Makes more sense than most of the stinky stuff I've heard from both sides so far this season... Elvisio "first and goal" Rodriguez -
I would like him (and most other hip hop artists) if they would just stop writing songs about how great they think they are. Every song is about their money and rides, how many g's they got, and how many bitches they have. I mean really, leave the Type A personality ego-tripping to the skydivers. ... Versace finally releases the new Ooompa Loompa Line for Fall! Elvisio "Oompa Loompa Oompa dee doo" Rodriguez

I have one song, and would vote for it three times: Figured you Out by Nickelback. Nothin' better. Elvisio "strip clubs? ME?" Rodriguez

Yeah man, it's all about spin. I think I missed a calling in politics... My only defense is that in this picture I'm the guy riding behind the student, rather than the guy riding behind the camera! Later; Elvisio "instructor not vidiot" Rodriguez

You love hockey players huh? ...Ahem... ahem... (hockey player clears throat)... what about me? I'm with Canuk on this one. The players whine about not having enough money, the owners whine about not having enough money, and all I can see is that these guys have more zeroes in their yearly salaries than I can ever hope to see. Hey Canuk, is that a friggin' typo? $11,500 per year? That is sick. Just proves the point further. Elvisio "playing the game for free" Rodriguez

I need a new job (resume attached) - can you help me?
skydiver30960 replied to skydiverek's topic in The Bonfire
YES! YES! YES! Can I get an Amen?! Elvisio "no more resumes that read like War and Peace" Rodriguez -
Let's make it happen dude! You open the DZ and I'll be your first full time TI/packer/DZgopher. Elvisio "like the sound of the tropics" Rodriguez
