the problem with doing that unexpectedly is that the others in your group may lose sight of you at the end of the dive and end up tracking over you... I'd only do this if you have prearranged tracking directions as suggested by Obelix (I think), otherwise keep an eye on everyone till planned breakoff, pick your clean bit of sky and track hard, flat and fast... I've found the best experience is doing a few 2 / 3 way tracking dives with some very good trackers - your tracking position will get better by huge amounts every jump as they push you to go flatter and flatter...

Beth, Download and print out the Cypres-Exemption letter from the BCPA website, written by the CAA. It generally solves any problems with airport security. BCPA look under AADs and Airports on the homepage Will

my gran always said whenever you saw a magpie before 12noon, you always had to bob your head to it and say "morning Mr. Magpie... how's your wife?" or get bad luck for the rest of the week... it still makes me giggle when I do it without thinking - I get some strange looks though!

There may be a terminology difference between the US and the UK, but in the UK every lift has a jump master designated who is 'b' licence qualified as a minimum and has certain duties and responsibilities. Students who have complete the 8 x AFF jumps need to complete 10 solo jumps (consolidation or consols) before qualifying, and their JM must be an instructor qualified to dispatch AFF students. can't be a BI/CSI...

Go on... what's your best topping for jacket spuds and what do you hate on them? I can't stand baked beans on spuds... it's just wrong and people that do it should be whipped , but lashings of butter and pepper with a bit of Brie is fantastic... Can you tell I've just had lunch?
