  1. Good luck man I don't articulate my freefly thoughts well enough on forums... but hopefully you get the point. You're basically setting up like a three-way round (HD) and AS A GROUP head-up flying it right down the hill. When we were first trying this, one would always float up and out just before we got off the hill. A strong head-up flyer on front float and driving (very lightly!) towards the center as a group helped us get there. The gorilla's fun, but you'll be stoked when you pull it off right! 2. yes we are! I can't wait... see you there Chaps Carpe diem
  3. Bummer man... I'll see you this weekend though! Chaps Carpe diem
  4. That's a tough exit! You really gotta be agressive with your legs out the door. Front float should stab that wind hard. It seemed to help keeping the grips low. For me the hard part about good head-up exits is how 'right' doesn't feel 'right.' Front and rear take their outside dock and give the count with that... inside takes their wrists on the bar... talking to front float about kinda hopping up a little on exit will help the piece come out right... be strong with those legs!!! Really try to get into that relative instead of torso sliding down the hill. I've had success with this, but I'm sure some of the more experienced could help you alot more... -IMHO! Chaps Carpe diem

  9. wow... i typically don't reply here, but you could use some toning down in other areas besides canopy flight. these guys don't reply to you for themselves... what do they have to gain? They're trying to help, they've been there. You wanna post here asking for help then bash top canopy pilots for their concerns??? wake up chaps Carpe diem

  14. I felt the same way about the riser pressure on the cf2 at first. Harness input in harmony with front riser input seemed to be the key for me. Chaps Carpe diem
  15. A deeper flare than my experience on the stilletto. It's fast... so have fun/be careful! (I've got 400 on the CF2) I gotta tell you though... it's the openings that really make this canopy rock for me! Chaps Carpe diem
  16. Lots of Ramen and Totino's pizzas I really can't afford how much I jump, but it's like the guy said above... PRIORITIES Chaps Carpe diem
  17. my friends e-mailed me this link to be funny...\ I once chopped due to an unstowed brake. I opened... started a spin that progressively got worse... looked up... nope, not a brake... what is this??? Tension not? Screw it... Chop Chop. Upon reviewing my video it was so obvious... one brake unstowed. I even considered the possibility. At the time it really didn't look like that was the problem. Oh-well. What a blast whipping that reserve out is!! I'm not sure I'll ever hear the end of it from my friends though! Thanx Carrie! Chaps Carpe diem

  23. I read it that way too... IMHO he's talking about methods of approach that are variable in the altitude lost... so even if conditions are slightly different your turn should start at the same altitude since your turn, dive, approach has buffer. It's the initiation point that changes... not the altitude. Just my take on the literature. Chaps Carpe diem
