I can only imagine how cool it must be as a coach to see a student progress. Tonight I flew with MacCormac and was working on HD in the tunnel. A year ago I was doing my first sit fly jumps with him. Now I fly like tinkerbell in the tunnel and am gettin there in the sky. In that year there was an accident and 5 mons with no jumping. He was amazed at how much my flying had progressed, as did Blincoe. It's nice to be able to show them that their efforts were appreciated and did not go to waste. My bf Needtojump is the main reason I fly the way I do. Without him I'd be suck on the net (as I am now again) but I'd still be sit flying. He's amazed with my progression more than I am I think. He gets more excited than I do sometimes, I guess I expect it out of myself because I know I can. I can only relate to my tennis coaching experiences. The pee wee group was my favorite, most of the time the racquet was as big as them The first week: whiff, swing, twirl, whiff. Third week: smack ball, hits instructor, ouch How nice hu? I teach em how to swing and I become target practice. I could care less as long as they get the ball over the net. What excites you the most about the tunnel? Even after 15 hours in the Orlando tunnel, I stll have the most fun bringing friends with me, whether they skydive or not (esp. the ones that don't). You can't get everyone out of an airplane because of, age, fear, money, etc. For me, the best part is seeing others enjoying themselves and opening them to an experience they won't soon forget. Taking a 3 year old in the chamber with me was awesome! Her older brother, 7, was smiling from ear to ear and can't wait to go back. I also found the tunnel to be parent friendly. My Mom and Dad really loved watching Ari and I fly in the tunnel this past month. After my skydivng accident, I don't think I could ever ask my parents to watch me jump. I'd expect them to watch the video but the landing they can miss. Making new friends and finding a few new people to jump with at the tunnel is always a plus. That way if you are waiting on time, you'll always have someone to talk to

Good luck getting tunnel time in Orlando this time of year Since I started I've flown: 15 hours @ Skyventure Orlando - mostly freeflying 15 minutes @ Flyaway Indoor Skydiving Las Vegas - I'm also a flyer who just has fun. I sometimes think I could but then I would want to have someone to share the memories with. I like having someone on vacation with me. I supposed when I am old and rich, I'll have a pool boy or something who can fill in and give me some lovins. I guess I really would like someone to share time with. I don't think there is anything you can say that will prepare her for this. Seems like one of those things that will get better with time, emails, letter, and a lot of luck. We have tons of loads and planes, my b-day is at the end of April, u haven't been to DeLand to visit , and I have an extra bed just for you

I used it in the tunnel and it is wonderful! If you space out, the instructor is able to easily tell you what you need to do to correct the problem. I think if used properly and sparingly with AFF students, it may be able to get students to feel what is going on and feel how to correct instead of guessing if what they are doing is right. Immediate correction can also help to avoid some bad situations if you can stay on top of it, I would imagine (no exp. with mics in air here so please don't take this post as "the word.").
