Just how much the people in your life mean to you. You never know when they will be gone and you won't get that chance again. I try to never part ways with someone on a sour note. I also try to show my family and friends on a regular basis through actions and words how much they mean to me. I've just been thinking about this and wanted to share it because of all the incidents I've been reading. On top of that my best friend's cousin, who was only 20, died in his sleep a couple nights ago and I found out about it yesterday. No parent should have to bury thier child.

I love what you and Shotgun had to say. Broken1 this is what you need to do. I have just been through getting my heart broken as well and I'm just about to the top of the hill. I got there by doing what these two smart women have told you. It really works, you don't need to stop loving the person but don't get your hopes up that they will come running back. It usually never works anyway.

I understand what you mean. Maybe you could have just said something like sorry I'm really not feeling well today. Yeah, like that would work. Too bad we have to justify everything we do to everyone or they might take offense. I work in IT so I deal with a lot of people who are quick to judge and blame. People love to blame their incompetence and problems they have on the job on their computer. I just wish people would take on their problems with the person that they have the problem with instead of going to their boss. Sometimes I get really sick of people. Every once in a while someone does something to negate that feeling though.

Do you think the customer you were with said something to your boss? No offense meant by this but if someone was to fold up their arms and put their head on them I would take it as they were annoyed or frustrated by my presence. Just my $.02

Both my dogs are petrified of thunderstorms. I got the same thunderstorm this morning as you did. Angus, the English mastiff was upstairs hiding in the bathroom. My other dog Bear is sick with cancer and didn't have the energy to or he would have as well. They know not to go upstairs unless told its ok but when it storms we make an exception. I usually let them into my bedroom to sleep when they do get scared.
