Since I absolutely LOVE Black Holes and Revelations, I'm more than a little interested in picking up this movie. To me, excellent cinematography can make up for a lack of plot. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that you and Scott are both "catches" that deserve the right caster, i.e. unmarried, non-psychos who will appreciate you both for who you are. I'm looking forward to seeing that one. Can yo believe that my brother (younger) has yet to see Clerks I? Even my sister, who's younger than him, has seen it. But back to the matter at hand, MSEG tried way too hard on too many fronts, and the performances, with the sole exception of Uma, seemed deliberately phoned-in. I've never seen Luke Wilson act as if he's trying to impress a grade-school girlfriend before. Okay, after talking with some people at the DZ this weekend, it looks like you'll have no problems finding two replacements. In fact, if you want two specific people to contact once you arrive, PM me and I'll put you in touch with them. There was a gleam in their eyes when I mentioned you needed replacements. You may wind up with two ringers: one with under 500 jumps and one with more. As long as none of the rest of your team has over 500 jumps, you're golden. The dialogue seemed forced, especially in the case of Luke Wilson, whom I am a fan of, and there were times when I honestly wondered if this wasn't a junior-high film project. Even Eddie Izzard, who has given some STELLAR performances in the past, seemed almost to understand how lame his role in the grand scheme of this film was and sent his performance in via teletype. I was underwhelmed. Oh, and if you deliberately leave your cell phone on in the theater and answer calls in the middle of a movie, FUCK YOU STRAIGHT TO FELCHING HELL. Seriously. I'd be willing to bet that if you can't get anyone to confirm BEFORE you arrive, there will be more than a few Raefordites who would be willing to fill those gaps.
