Holy carp (the fish)! I almost forgot about Heritage House! I do remember having brunch at the Mission many times and thinking how I would love to go exploriring all the places they wouldn't let you go there. And the Riverside Airport DID seem like forever away when you live next to Box Springs National Park. And what About UCR? I had to ride through there on my way to and from work when I worked at Carl's Jr. in Canyon Crest, and when I went to and from North High. I remember glass on the bottom of the pool at Perris High when we'd go there for swim meets. And does the mall really bring in more people from around the globe like the Riverside 500 did? And I remember meeting "Elvira" when I marched in Uni's marching band. Oh, and Love's Barbecue pit that used to be kitty-corner from El Gato Gordo (which I understand to be kaput). And The Bull-n-Mouth bar on the west side of the UCR campus where I would go for real cherry cokes after school. Ahhhhh...I really need to go home for a visit soon. I miss that town.

Do you remember when it was nothing but orange groves all the way from Canyon Crest to March AFB? And what about the Riverside International Raceway? I actually got to meet Paul Newman out there. My grandparents live right on the other side if Box Springs National Park from the DZ. What other Riverside memories do you have?
