See! That is my exact thought too!

Welcome to the sport of skydiving! Be careful jumping the tandem master! I ended up marrying my first jump instructor. 25 years and 4 kids later we are still happily jumping out of air planes together. Isn't it a great sport? Keep on jumping!

I wonder if the woman is under investigation? Seems like too much of a coincidence that both her husbands committed suicide in the same way. I wonder what kind of life insurance she got from them. And, is the heart going on to another recipient that she can follow? weird.

The kitty is on page 44 this morning.

Wow! I should quit making jumpsuits and start making dresses. I had no idea people would actually pay that kind of money for a dress!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! From where and when was it stolen? What color was the embroidery? If you can give me approx dates of manufacture maybe I can come up with a serial number for you.
-
You can always offset those costs a bit by packing parachutes. When you get a few more jumps you can instruct/jumpmaster/coach/become a rigger etc. to help pay for the jumps as well. You get so much more out of it when you give a little anyway.

Trying to stay with the little skydiver
vskydiver replied to vtskydivescott's topic in Relative Work
I weight around 105 lbs., sans gear, and I jump just fine with guys in your weigh range. Some of them even bigger. Sometimes I wear a few pounds of weights and sometimes I don't. Depends on the dive and what we are doing. Those big guys I jump with realize that they are heavy and they have modified their suits and gear and learned how to fly to meet the fall rate that is expected of the dive. Just as I have modified my suits and gear and have learned how to meet the fall rate that is expected of the dive. I don't expect you to fall out of the dive any more than you should expect me to float out of it. We all have our personal battles in the air. We all have to learn to overcome them and fly the dive. Don't make your shortcomings someone else's battle on top of their own. That just sucks for everyone. -
I think from a marketing stand point the question shouldn't be why would I wear the shirt but why would I buy the shirt. The whole idea of marketing is to find out what products will sell. From there I'm going to have to say a big factor for me is the price of the item. For instance I looked up the skydiving shirt that jellob mentioned and I liked it, I would probably wear it if I had it and it came in my size but I would never buy it. I could never pay $22 for a one color screen print T-shirt no matter how cute it was. I do machine embroidery and I know how much a T-shirt should cost. I'd rather spend that money on my next jump and wear the free T-shirt I got from the Thailand boogie instead. Besides, not just anyone can buy the 2008 Thailand sky festival boogie T-shirt. It's pretty damn exclusive.

Kapowsin (in Shelton) is worth the drive if the weather is good. Bigger plane/s, more people. Plus I jump there! Snohomish is fine too though.

Now he's on page 37.

You've obviously never gone to altitude in a jump plane when you were congested. You may be redefining torture when you do. Have fun!

Happy Birthday!! Hope you have a terrific day that includes Skydiver Blonde! When is the Porter going to start flying up at Mt. Vernon? The tulips will be blooming soon and I want to see them from under canopy.

Your Kitty is now on page number 20.

Flossing? The video I watched from that clicky was about China's air pollution. I've been to China. It really IS like that.

No we haven't. We go over there to visit our daughter who is going to college. (2nd year) We haven't checked out any of the places to skydive yet. I hear there is a great wind tunnel in New Hampshire too.
-
Good for you!! Happy drinking! JohnMitchell and I get over that way once a year or so. We'll have to keep that in mind and maybe check it out when we do.
-
Oh! Lucky you! Have fun!!
-
Especially since on me, it was like a giraffe having a tonsilectomy. More like an elephant having his nasal passages cleared.
-
I went with JohnMitchell when he had his done. They didn't put him to sleep either. They called him back and I read a magazine in the waiting room. I didn't even get finished with the article I was reading when he came walking back. I thought maybe they weren't going to do it after all. But they had already done it. I swear it only took like 5 minutes! He went shopping with me the rest of the day and a few days later he was skydiving. I was kind of mad because I thought since I'd gone through 4 kids for him, he should have been through a bit more than that! No pain, no swelling, nothing.
-
I was disappointed. Not that they aren't cute kids and all that but I was expecting something else for some reason. Congrats on the new baby! Very sweet. Enjoy them now. They grow up to be teenagers.

Are you talking men or women? I think the article was referring to men. Yes women can finish in about 3 minutes but they can continue on and do it again two minutes later and then again... My personal experience seems like it lasts WAY longer. Maybe that is because you do it right though. I don't know? -

Is this one of those articles that are trying to make the looser feel better about himself? I'm not trying to be rude. I really don't know. Probably after 4 kids I should know these things but that seems rather short to me. -
Wow! I look like a dork. You picked those pictures out special didn't you!
