:3:0 Yes, it was a nice weekend although much time spent talking said nephew's friends into making those tandem jumps with him and then having the rest of the weekend be rainy. Attached is a picture of John's lovely Pieing. I had bought some lovely Marie Calendar chocolate cream pies to put in his face but everyone made such a fuss that we ended up just eating them and putting whipped cream topped with a bunch of chocolate syrup on paper plates. It did the job. We all got to lick it off him and it was tasty.

You didn't feel ripped off? You had free tickets! Does that mean it wasn't good enough that you would pay for it but since it was free it was OK? Maybe I'll wait for it to come out on DVD and borrow it from the library so I can see it for free then too.

Of course I never mocked someone with Lupus. Why would I do that? I'm just saying that people that don't understand are more likely to mock. Since most people don't even know what lupus is they are pretty likely to mock me. I'm not a mocker. I'm a rocker.

Yeah, but you are the sexiest guy on a riding lawn mower that I've ever seen. I don't think anyone would mock you. Besides, you still fix all the cars and lift all the heavy stuff and open all the jars. If someone mocks anyone it would be me but I'm OK with that because there isn't anything I can do about it. I'm alive and it's all good. I don't think anyone should be mocked anyway. We all do what we can.

Oh! That's so nice, but, um, no thanks. I have kids rather than pets. If I'd thought about it maybe I should have named my kids those names huh? That would have been unique! Instead of Ryan, Amelia, Brett and Melissa I could have named them Evo, Raven, Blade and Katana!

Same with my wife. Sure makes for good swooping, though, eh? I really doubt they wouldn't take my blood because I'm too skinny. They won't take my blood because of the anti-bodies from Lupus in it. Not that Lupus is contagious or anything but when someone is sick, they don't need all that extra stuff to deal with. However, THANK YOU all for giving blood because I've used a lot of it over the years and it's kept me alive many times. You guys that can and do give blood are awesome!!

Well, that depends on how you look at it. He is working at getting his tandem ticket and asked me to go on the front for the experienced skydiver part. However there was a time when I'm sure he thought I was taking him for a ride rather than the other way around. He did fine.

"Maybe if you do ok this time, they'll let you go by yourself." Blues, Dave Oh you guys are so hard on him! He's doing fine! You should encourage him. He's going to make a great tandem master and really make a lot of people's tandem experiences wonderful! So be nice!

Awe! He was fine. At no point in time did he ever give me the feeling that I wasn't safe. Even when the parachute wasn't opening and looked like it was going to have to be cut away and he was grunting and swearing behind me. Or even that time when we weren't making the landing field and he had to swoop somewhere else. And even that time when he almost lost control of me in freefall because I was trying my hardest to f him up. He did a great job. You should be fine. I put him through the acid test and he came through with flying colors. On top of that he was still nice to me!
