Okay, so i just got back to emails and stuff... The weekend consisted of LOTS of soreness... Did some good caving trips, long caving trips, and some fantastic vertical caving trips as well!!! Monday I was sore, my knee bothered me as we hit another cave on the way home. I started to go in, and got about 20 minutes into it, before i realized that my knee really needed a rest. So I left the breakdown, and hung out outside for the rest of the time. ALTHOUGH... Monday, we did go hiking on the APP trail for a little while. The sun was out and it was beautiful, so nice, so pleasant, it was a good day for the hike. Yesterday, I spent the day in airports, today and friday i plan on going on the track at the newly build indoor track at the dome (a quarter mile track), then this weekend i have a curling match, along with 2 soccer games. I'm buying new running shoes this afternoon (i already have some, but I want to get another pair since i'll be doing some hardcore training coming up). I'm buying that watch today that i keep talking about and not doing anything about it as well!!! :-) So that'll help in the upcoming weeks too... i don't think i would consider anything as a BAD Valentine's Day Gift if he thought and cared about getting you anything. If you have to pick something, I'd say a thoughtless gift. Like how you mentioned that you don't like chocolate but if he gave you chocolate, to me that seems pretty thoughtless, so i guess i would consider that a bad gift. If a guy gave me something that i would completely deteste... i guess that would be a bad gift, but if a guy put thought and consideration into it, then no matter what it is, it'd be thoughtful and sweet! So I know absolutely nothing about coffee, coffee grinders, coffee presses, and the such. A friend of mine's birthday is coming up, who LOVES coffee, but doesn't have a coffee grinder, and only owns a coffee press. I decided that I wanted to buy him a coffee grinder and give some Alaska coffee (supposedly it's really good...). What do i need to look for in a grinder for a decent one that will work with coffee presses? Anything in particular? I know i read something on some coffee site, but i guess i figured maybe some coffee lovers could help me out. Maybe even help recommend some grinders that would be good, that aren't incredibly costly? Thanks guys! I haven't read all the replies, but I just wanted to let you know. I grew up with a goldern retriever that was born with Hop Dysplasia. The doctor said that there was a chance that she'd be okay for while. We took our chances, since getting the surgery done was quite expensive. She lived for 12 years. Granted the hip issue was PART of her problem when she died, but she had a good life, and you would have knever known that she had that as an issue. It's a tough call. I can't imagine putting them to sleep, but i understand your concern... Soccer was a blast!!! Winter season up here is indoor!!! They just build a big dome for us to play in!!! Plus we won!!! WOOHOO!!! Awesome on the heart rate monitors.... I decided that i'm definitely going to get one. I'm also buying a membership this week to the dome for a month to use the track in it. It's a 1/4th mile track, not bad for indoors... Figure by mid march when the membership is up, it'll start being warm enough to run outside!!!
