This could just be a terminology confusion thing. I'll agree that needs to be corrected to avoid future confusion but I'd rather someone call a bag lock a line twist or vice versa and know what to do versus have a mal, know what it's called, but not know what they need to do to save their life. Besides, the look on jumpers faces when someone told them they kicked out a baglock would be priceless. Edited to add: This belongs in Safety and Training, not Incidents.

As long as you are using full duplex gigabit switches and NICs you don't need to try to segment the traffic. If anything, just team the NICs for redundancy and speed. Having two IP's tied to the same name on the same network can be more trouble than it's worth. I've tried in the past to give projects long names that abbreviate well. Couldn't get them to buy into P.O.S. even though I was careful to only call it by the full name. Hmmm, maybe I'd have better luck with PITA.

We did a balloon jump and then "lost" the balloon. The balloon pilot had landed but had no idea where he was. So a bunch of us are riding around in the back of a pickup truck with our gear on in South Carolina trying to find it. Asking the whuffo's if they had seen a giant hot air balloon and then trying to explain we were serious was for lack of better words... interesting. Yes. Divorces are about 50% of my practice. Guess why I'm not kidding. Doctors, cops and lawyers get to see the various things people are really up to. Real life is an amazing thing. And I've learned that those things that society considers "abnormal" are pretty freaking common! It also gives me regular lessons on why I should not do those things if I wish to stay married. Or just don't lie and try to cover them up. I would think it's not so much the activities, it's the lack of openness and trust that is the bigger issue. Telling an SO, "Honey, every once in a while, I like to dress like a McDonalds employee and have a person dressed in a Barney costume throw pepperonis on me while we're standing in a kiddie pool of sauerkraut." may be a hard conversation to have, but is still 100000000000 times easier than trying to explain it after they're caught. SURE. And I am sure you and your gator thong aren't going to be making an apperance? At SDC for the 4th of July? Probably. At your new job? Probably not. The tongue of the gator thong is hollow, so erect would just keep the head pointing straight forward with the mouth hung open. I rarely use the hollow tongue myself though. Other possible ideas...
