I have to agree with you, I personally like going fast, very fast... Crazy fast but this is not the purpose of this vehicle. The race for horsepower is absolutely crazy, now street bikes roll out of the factory with 180 horses, with more power to weight ratio than anything people would even dream of 15 years ago, and cars are running with over 300 horsepower all over the place. Now we consider a car fast when it breaks 400 horses and people still drive like idiots, with some kind of pathetic endorsement that cost them a few buck and close to no training. This is insane, people have not changed, we still look like shit once we smack into a wall.

Who is going? I think there is a shuttle from SkydiveAZ, but I'm not sure what the story is. PM me if you need a ride, I will be driving from Eloy—SkydiveAZ to Rocky Point, Mexico for the boogie. I will have one or two extra seats in the car, 'm leaving ELOY in the morning, Thursday. Who want's to be my DDDriver for the road trip back? ;) Benji //

I like the non "s" version, the bikini fairing looks totally stupid, plus the 'naked' version is a cheaper and better base to build a small twin race bike. I always rode 4's, R6 and R1 but some good friends had 'em and the 'lil' SV was always a great bike once you re-valved those crap forks... yep that front end was cheap, you can tell zuki saved some cash there. ... in my opinion the older rounder frame looks better, M4 made a bad ass sounding pipe for it too..

In that price range, as a starter bike, I would recommend a SUZUKI SV650, a fun, light twin, that needs little tunning the day you want to make it a real fun bike. stock, behaves very nicely and with some mods It wins lots of races in it's class. 2000 was the first year I think. so totally in the price range. Get a good helmet and some gear with the xtra cash! Benji

I second Benji's statement. It's not because one is your soulmate that you can live with jim/her... I know it sounds contradictory, but it does happen. Besides, there are more than 1 soulmates... She is, and always will be, I believe it... seriously, the most potent, deep, profound relationship on every level I have (yet) experienced... but day to day BS chewed us and spat us out. The next question is can we have more than one? what about a few?
