learn? you mean somebody is actually supposed to teach us? Its all trial by error. Buy a rig, cram the parachute into the bag, go to dropzone, get in airplane, jump when the light turns red (do not wait for green, if it turns red and nobody jumps start yelling at them to jump because they are probably just scared), pull thingy majig to make parachute come out of bag, land at airport. repeat above steps.

Actually, no, I did not miss the term "working vacation" reread my original post. I dont give a fuck what he can do in TX vs. here. It is all about perception. It is being reported that this is a 5 WEEK VACATION. Yes, they use the word working but more importantly so they use the word VACATION. Once again, It is all about perception, and the perception is that he is taking a 5 WEEK VACATION. What has he done to deserve a 1 week vacation let alone 5 weeks?

Nobody was in the same boat because all those people you mentioned arent our president. There is only one person for the people who dont believe WMD's existed to blame and that is Bush. This isnt a elementary school playground whereas you can place blame because other kids were doing the same thing. I dont give a shit who else agreed or disagreed with bush, he is the one to blame when shit goes wrong just as he is the one that takes credit when shit goes right.

Outside the debate of whether or not the war is justified can anybody justify our President taking a 5 week vacation while people are dying fighting for this country. As far as I am concerned he is disrespecting all the families of soldiers that have died and is basically spitting in the american publics face by doing this. How many of those soldiers probably wish they could take a fucking vacation right now??? A true leader would not take one day of vacation until every last possible troop was brought home safely. Or perhaps that is just my definition of what a true leader is, i dont give a fuck if it took all 8 years of his time in office. Taking 5 weeks off is blatant disrespect considering the current circumstances.

how about saying which dz this is. Odds are someone on here jumps there and can give you info...as far as a ratings system for dz's and accidents i dont think anything like that exists, could be wrong but i dont think so. btw - i couldnt care less, but expect to have people asking you to fill out your profile. anytime someone starts asking about safety and or incidents related to specific dropzones a lot of people on here will want to know who they are talking too.

This is where you are blatantly clueless. Is the the guy on the bottom responsible for the wrap? No. Is the guy on the bottom responsible for his own well being? YES!!! He chose to do that crew jump. He chose to step out of that airplane. No matter whom is "technically" to blame, the ultimate responsibility is your own. In your example nobody forced that guy to do what he was doing. It is common knowledge that shit beyond our control can happen in this sport. Accept it, deal with it, or move on. Why are you even bothering to continue to post? This is the internet, no more no less. I find it amazing how many people get so wrapped up in this website. It is a great place to kill time, have some laughs and bullshit with some people whom you may already know or may not know or plan to get to know. That is all it is. There are no written rules here that have any effect on life away from your computer. No matter what the forum, if it is on the internet it is never a wise idea to share any personal info that could be used by anybody to track you down. Its as simple as that. This website is no different than any other website out there.

Anybody that relies on the internet for potential life saving information is a complete jackass. No offense but I have no sympathy for anybody who provides any type of personal information on the internet and has it used against them. Everything on the internet is public info up for grabs. There are a lot of naughty people on the internet doing naughty things. The internet has now been around long enough that people should know by now no matter what the forum is you shouldnt post any type of personal info, no matter what it is.
