Well that's a shame. You do have to be 18 to jump in Byron and I can't imagine it would be much fun for you to sit and watch everyone else when you're stuck on the ground. No worries, there will be plenty more boogies in the future. Yeah.. go to the other ones first, cause going to the Byron Boogie that young will ruin you.. you won't have as much fun at other boogies anymore..

Here you go. I had a custom made flash bracket made for the 550ex that attaches to my helmet using a Stroboframe, so it is easily removed when I don't want to bring the flash. Picture taken by our friend genoyamamoto

I don't really know the exact weight of my helmet, but I guess it's somewhere around 9lbs for the TRV19 w. the 20D + Sigma 15mm. With the flash on it, probably another 1.5lbs or so. It's all about how the helmet is balanced, and what kind of equipment you are jumping, get yourself a canopy that opens nice.. and you won't have any problems.. And regarding the weight.. you build up muscle, believe me, I've outgrown several shirt sizes just because of my neck. Get the right tools for the job..

Who's bringing a boat to Lost Prairie? We really want to do water jumps, and I just talked to Amazon, and it sounds like her boat won't be ready in time for the prairie. If there's no boat available, we're looking into renting one for the day and organize some lake jumps for that day, which would be a little extra to pay for the boat..
