I've been under a fully inflated canopy at a little over 900ft, I had 60 jumps at the time, no cypress and no audible altimeter. I lost altitude awareness on a freefly jump and saw my friends deploy at 2500ft or so.. WAAY above me I've never been more scared in my life, and the first thing I did was buy a ProTrack Now my alarms are set at 5 and 3 in my regular helmet, 6 and 3 in my camera helmet (6000ft so I know the tandem deployment is coming up.. ) Iwan

The F# on the lens is the maximum aperture for that lens. So if your lens says F2.8, then that's the largest aperture you camera can set the lens' aperture to. The number on your camera controls what the lens is going to be set for. So if you set your camera to F8, it sets the aperture on the lens to F8. With regards to what makes one lens better than another, there is a lot more to that than just the aperture, but generally the lenses with larger aperture values are of higher optical quality. I haven't.. although my first 5 years in the sport were super slow (I accumulated only 200 jumps in 5 years) and the last three have been off the hook going from 300 a year two years ago to 500+ a year in the last two years. Every time I don't really feel like jumping, it's usually certain kind of things.. I've gotten stuck at one point were I just didnt see any progress in my freeflying. I put on the bumper suit and went out and did a bunch of 4 ways with others.. and then went back to freeflying.. Variety in your skydiving, and setting goals you want to achieve.. and seeing yourself progress towards those goals is what keeps me going and what keeps me excited about jumping. Just my 2cts.

Ok.. to everyone that knew I was all freaked out and stressed I was going to have to cancel this trip due to a situation at work.. I don't have to anymore, I got the coolest manager in the world!! (although he did make me stress for a long time) I'm gonna be in Eloy for SURE!

I agree.. and the reason people do this, is because some people interpret the law even more strictly and start sueing people that look at it a little bit less strict.. You just have to be way careful these days with videos, it's sad but true. I'm not offended by nudity and neither are any of my friends or family.. but some people are, and even though they should loosing up..( in my opinion) you have to respect that they just dont see things the same way.. It's probably not Skydive Arizona or the Bent Prop or anyone in that business that's offended.. it will be some uptight customer that walks into the Bent Prop and sees this one boob shot in a video that is played there and it will have the owner of the bent prop sued and possibly lose his / her license... Again.. super cool video.. I can't wait to be out there and flying with all of you in Eloy!
