Who ever wants to be on this record should start jumping with an organizer earlier on during the boogie. That way the different organizers can vouch for these people's skills..

Lisa, Don't put a wide angle on there, stick with what yo got.. For really nice footage, invest in a tripod instead of a wide angle. (50-100 bucks will get you a good enough tripod at BestBuy or something.. ) The best footage I think is where you can see the approach (turn / pattern) all the way to landing where the canopy touches the ground, so you can see how somebody finished the whole landing, not just the initial touchdown. Also, try not to use zoom too much.. just a couple of hints

Dont get rid of that rebel sir.. If you're just going to use the camera for skydiving, I think you should take a serious look at the XT too.. very nice camera, it's lighter than the 20D and it saves you a couple of bucks. Don't get me wrong, if my 20D breaks today.. I am buying another 20D, but I use my camera almost as much on the ground as I do in the sky.. and on the ground the 20D beats the XT any day.. (nicer body to hold on to.. )

0:15:0 No beer owed this weekend.. beautiful weather up here in NorCal and we jumped our a$$es off on Saturday.. Sunday was a little too windy, and overcast, but still got a couple jumps in demoing new toys..

I'll be on the ground watching that carnage.. is there anyone with less than 100 jumps available, should fly camera already and have major tunnel vision. That should keep it exciting right?

Depending on how long you're going to be there, figure out how much you can afford ha ha!! For me, I know I'll be doing at least 6 / 7 jumps a day, and I'm there for 4 days.. you do the math.. it's an expensive one!
