We have nothing against the Cessna, it's cool to go back to the "old days" but it's just more fun when there's a Turbine around that carries a lot more jumpers, so you can make more than 3 jumps a day maximum I love the 206 no matter what. Iwan

True, and the only way you can get them is by showing that you have earned them when you go to the PX (or whatever it is called on a military base) to buy extra ones for your uniform. My cousin is in the Army and has been to Airborne school and took great pride in this, it might not be as hard as bootcamp, but it is a major achievement. One of his sergeants gave me his wings because I was a skydiver as well and related to one of his troops. The ones he gave me were actually special combat airborne wings (meaning he was in a combat situation while beeing in an airborne unit) I am proud I have them, but I will never in my life wear them, as I have not deserved them the way they are supposed to be deserved. I hope that your kidding and not just an ass I know lots of guitar players that can play anything that they hear and never bother with reading music or tablature.. Music is music My grandpa still can't read music, but is one of the best organ players around where he lives (and trust me.. there's enough of them there) He askes people what they want him to play, and he listens to a tape or CD with the music, and he knows how to play it... I would use Microsoft Access for those kind of things. You can always cut and paste parts of the data into Excel later, I don't know what you need to do with the data, but query-ing and those kind of things are a lot easier (I think) in Access. Although Excel has quite a few functions for that sort of stuff as well. Iwan

I know the feeling.. I left my "old buddy" with ChopChop on Friday night.. The rig has saved my life for over 300 jumps, but it is time to move on.. Don't be too emotional, you're upgrading to a Wings... you'll forget about that old container in no time

Why so many jumps before one can fly camera?

That is how a camera guy went in a couple of years ago, got on the plane without wearing his rig. My procedure is that I don't touch my camera helmet untill all my necessary equipment is good to go, rig on, alti on, dytter set, wings attached etc. Then I go for the camera helmet. Instead of jumping in my rig at the 5 minute call, I start putting the stuff on at 15 mins, so I have time to check everything. Iwan -
