As far as I know we are not doing anything special for Safety day... In fact there is a swoop competition in Byron! I guess a canopy safety seminar would be appropriate.

Gimp, After looking at that setup again, you could lower that who thing considerably if you put your video behind the stills... or did that not work? I would still give the front mount a try.. it works for pretty much everybody that has a FTP, so I wonder why it wouldn't work for you. Just bump up the zoom a bit and the lens will disappear from the video. Iwan

I agree, I already had two lenses in this range, but both of them were not very good ones. One was from the Rebel 2000 kit, and the other from the Digital Rebel kit. I am really happy I replaced those with the 28-200, specially after Deuce let me testdrive his for a while. Iwan

That's how my helmet is too, it looks huge, but from a weight standpoint, it really is no issue. But then I mostly (for now at least) fly on my belly anyways.. Iwan

Oh my god!! That is high Gimp. I know my lens has shown up in the video as well, but by bumping up the zoom a bit that problem is solved. I would really consider it, that is a damn high setup you got there We'll measure our helmets down there , I am bringing my stuff as well. By the way, I think da Deucemeister is going to kick both our asses, his new "cameradome" is going to be BIG... Iwan

The 28-135 is a nice lens. I got the 28-200 though. I wasn't all that interested in the Image Stabilizer on the 28-135 and wanted a slightly longer lens. The 28-200 is a very nice and reasonably fast lens. Iwan
