I think that's what Deuce did with his Sigma 14, leave the barrel on and put a filter on that.. I jump the 15 without a filter. I do remove the barrel though. Iwan

He what's up with that? Now that I invested in all this nice film, you're going to someone else? ha ha.. Anyway, photoshoots on the weekend won't work for me anyways, I need to do photoshoots in the skies above Byron. Watch out with people taking your picture "and just getting you modelling exposure" Are you sure he's not going to sell your pictures later on? Make sure you read the fine print on the modelling contract. And if there is none, at least get some kind of written agreement just in case he decides to publish some of the pics. Iwan -

Mid California is the area you drive through when you jump in NorCal and you decide to go jumping in So. Cal for the weekend. I guess you pass Fresno on the way, so that would be MidCal.. Mid Cal just doesn't sound cool, NorCal and SoCal does..

Ha ha.. I remember those days... I didn't post back then, but I sure did check the site out a lot to find dz's to jump at during my internship here in the US. Great work HH, this site really has come a long way, from "just a list of dz's" to a whole community.. Keep up the good work.. Iwan

I think people have their personal favorites when it comes to CF cards. You can't go wrong with the Ultra II cards. One thing regarding the size, the 512 is very nice, but for practical reasons I bought 256MB cards. These hold about 77 shots, which works out perfect for a tandem photoshoot (at least for me) What I do is I drop the card off at the video concession, they burn it onto a CD and I put my other card in there and go for the next customer. Regarding speed.. where you are going to see the real speed of this card compared to other cards is when you are downloading the images or viewing them on the camera. There is a huge difference between the Ultra II cards and the "normal" Sandisk CF cards. I would recommend getting 2 or 3 256 MB cards for tandem photos. Thanks, Iwan

Congratulations everyone, and thanks Deuce for representing the talent that Byron is producing How many more record holders do we have now in good old BAS? Yourself, Kevin, BigTom are added to the already impressive list I assume? I couldn't find Kevin on the pics for sure, but I sure noticed you representing with the Monkey hat, and BigTom.. just beeing BigTom on the same airplane.

So would Turtle I am sure!! I think the black one looks cool too, but then the silver and black looks nice enough for me. Otherwise there is too much black on my helmet, now there is shiny stuff on there
