Mine would have to be Jump # 104... Heres the log book entry..... Jump # 104 - Solo Tracking Dive - 13,500 - Caravan Exited first..Tracked back down jump run, Saw a hole in the clouds and went for it. (Should have tracked 90 at this point) Made the Hole...Felt like superman till I discovered that I was about a mile DOWNWIND of the DZ...What a goober mistake! Pulled about 4000 feet, had to pick a tight landing area...Landed parallel to the powerlines on the shoulder of a farm road about three feet from the pavement. After asking me where I came from and inviting me to stay for dinner, A nice old couple gave me a ride back to the DZ.....LESSON LEARNED. Not necessarily the most fun, BUT I do remember it! why do people "give each other skin" in the plane?

I think giving skin in the plane servs two reasons. First it says...Heres to us..The luckiest Sons-Of-Bitches in the world. This IS a great life we lead. And WE are the privlidged few... Secondly I think it is a chance to leave all of the useless shit on the ground. So if the unfortunate happens, you parted ways on a good note. Blue Ones! I found the fact that I could easily access satelite aerial phots of any area in America a little disturbing. I was able to access aerial photos of Airforce bases, Military installations and even our DZ and my house THE WHITE HOUSE! You can pan the area, and get detailed topographical maps and ect.... I have included some photos....The resolution is not very good because I had to reduce them to post them here, but the actual phots are very clear. Makes you wonder......
