    Sounds pretty awesome, Clay! Laura has agreed to me getting a plane when I start flying. We live in Ohio and I have always wanted to move to Colorado, but she didn't want to....so we comprimised.

    That's what I'm saying....Dutchboy doesn't have a lot of pricing to play with. Hell....maybe he'll let you get some instruction for free so he can build some time. That would be awesome. I am thinking about doing my training down there when the time comes. Since I'll be a teacher, I'll have the summer months off so I'll be able to come down and stay for awhile and learn. Woohoo!!     Chuck.....once again.....great advice and very well put. I would love to go down to Sebastian and pay Rook for 50 freefly coach jumps...however, that would cost me about the same as a new rig. If you are not rich, maybe just do a couple coach jumps, but make sure they are certified. Our DZ makes AFF and S/L grads do coach jumps with coaches that cost $70 (2 slots, rental and $ for the coach) each and you need to do 10. Now...these coaches usually have 200-400 jumps and that's about it. It is good help to practice the basic RW stuff, but I would think that just covering the slot would be sufficient.     What do you mean? Instruction IS cheap. You need to get in good with an FBO owner/manager to get it cheap. The expensive part is the plane rental. If I remember correctly, the actual instructor is only like $15 per hour. That is damn cheap for what they had to go through to get there. Just like skydiving instructors.

    I'm not sure how soon you want to buy gear and such, but if you go to Deland, you will be very close to almost all of the gear manufactorers and will be able to demo a lot if you stay there long enough. Also, when you are done in Deland, I recommend you get ahold of SkyMonkeyONE from here and talk to him about Raeford.     just put a 3 in your space for the offset. you must be in Pacific and I am in Eastern. Mine is set at 6 and is correct (which means the server time is 6 hours behind mine.) When you check the server time and it is 3 hours behind your current time, that means its time to change it.
