At our DZ...this is a MAJOR problem. They have BOC and RC rigs mixed together with different canopies and so forth. The problem comes when you go to rent a rig and they only have a ripcord or they only have a BOC. I was trained on AFF with ripcord and then during coach jumps, they put me on the BOC. However, there has been plenty of times that I had to use a ripcord because all the BOC were being used (like 2 rigs). What my problem with this is that I was going back and forth between the two like crazy. It was almost different everytime I went there. I have never had a problem, I have never held the PC, nor have I ever dropped the ripcord. One thing that I do before I jump is practice my pulls about 50 times before the atual jump. I don't think it is very safe to do the switching, but hey, I gotta jump and there isn't anything else. God, I'm glad we got our rigs.now. ------------- http://www.JumpinDuo.com "oh no. Seems to me that some people forget that skydiving is a buisness. They dont do this for our pleasure and should expect us to just pay for cost and their time is ours. Hell no!! They want to try to make a buck just like we are. Maybe Roger makes a helluva lot more than everyone else around these parts, but he's got a great place and great planes and a great operation (from what I've heard). So, why are you guys all worried about them making a lot of money? Just be happy we can skydive and get over it! Glad to hear that you guys had a great experience! When Laura and I ordered our gear, ParaQuip was very helpful and answered questions and let us demo the canopies. THEN....after we paid them, we heard from them one time in over 2 months. I called them almost 10 times per week trying to get information and trying to get our order straightened out. Well, in the end, he had our rigs for over a week and didn't bother to take it to the rigger until I called about once per hour and left voice mails. Also, our rigs were not correct due to him (but Wings fixed it) and he NEVER ordered our gearbags that we ordered from him. This is pathetic. I sure hope that you guys stick with SkyKat and keep them going strong because we need more people like that and not like my experience. Hey man....thank you for the info. I guess now having a wife and some bills, it might be a good idea to have that extra coverage. However, if there would be an accident where I'd die, it would probably be from my driving. Ahhh!!!! I am on MTV all the time from a video I sent them for a certain show a couple years ago. I'm not going to tell you which clip it is, however if anyone can identify the clip correctly, I'll tell you if you're right. There is no mistaking me or where I'm at. Good luck.

That is awesome man!! Great to hear that you had a nice experience with your rig on the plane. I dont know...I dont think that I would be able to wear a rig through the airport like that. Thanks for the links!! Hopefully I can find some good stuff to fly. I finally have a joystick that I'm borrowing. It is much easier fly with...especially with the throttle control. Yesterday evening, I flew from Pensacola Reg airport to Cancun Intl, then to Cozumel, refueled and then flew back to Pensacola. Acutally, the Caravan is on the Professional edition and I wasn't about to spend an extra $20 for a couple more planes and some more learning stuff. Also, my first flight yesterday was from Richmond to Xenia airport. I flew around where it said SGC was, but it is all grass, so it's hard to find. I just figured if I laned across town, you would be able to pick me up. Oh yeah.....does anyone know where you can go to download more planes and things of that sort?
