Agreed. BASE jumping is a totally different animal from what I've seen/read/heard. Also....illegal (for the most part) in many places around the world. And like Phree said, Blinc is supposedly the place to get useful info. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

You can go into the "user list" and go pages after pages and kinda put together a rough estimate my multiplying the number of pages by how many people per page until you get to the people with 2 or more. (NOTE: be sure to sort by post count) The reason there are so many people like this is because there are many who use this website for email, dz and event listings and then to sell stuff on auctions and classified ads. OK guys! I just got 4 more mugshots up a couple minutes ago: Max, Viking, WCE Viper and AirDrew. AndyMan is trying to get his picture this way and a couple other people without scanners. Keep them coming!! (P.S. I'll be gone tomorrow afternoon, Friday and Saturday at a Foreign Language Confrence - no computer - so I'll get all the rest after tomorrow on Sunday.) I love helping out.

Remster...as you were talking about not making TONS of jumps to be active at your DZ is true. I dont get the chance yet to jump as much as I would like, but once I get the chance, I would LOVE to be a coach so I can help out around the DZ. That would be a great way to work towards my TM rating and would hopefully help out the DZ a lot. I will certainly be doing that next year. Anyone have a quick link to where I can read the requirements to be a coach? Thanks!!

Hey all. Here is just a friendly reminder that if you want your mugshot in the "mugshot gallery" to please send me a picture that I can put it on there. Here are the "rules" that BossMan put forth: I'm trying to keep all images in the Mug Shot Gallery consistent, so you can not upload an image to the gallery yourself. MountainMan has kindly agreed to format and upload images to the gallery. So, if you'd like to see your photo in our Mug Shot Gallery, here's how to go about it: - Email a large photo of your mug to MountainMan at : lwren@woh.rr.com - All Images will be cropped, head and shoulders, to 250 pixels wide by 350 pixels high. - Then simply check the Mug Shot Gallery frequently to see when your image is added. - That's it! So, if you want yours there, get them sent to me and I will get them up ASAP. (Sorry to those last few that I put up. I was in FL and couldn't get to them, but I did. Heh heh...

Woohoo!! Congratulations Chuck. So, Sangiro......can I be a moderator now? I think I could do well in the Announcements/Suggestions and Feedback/Error and Bug Reports department. I can imagine it now....searching the FAQs all day long to answer peoples questions and trying out different things that people say dont work, but they really do when you are logged-on and have cookies available. Jeez, HH, I could put this on my resume!!! (If you want me to do it, I really will.)

To build on my "no self-build" statement, last year, I built one for my parents and it has been nothing but headaches. I built the whole thing in about 5 hrs and then installed the OS and then it went to shit quick. I just dont know what to get and what works well together. hey there all. I am wondering about getting a new computer. I want to get a really good one, but would like to get a pre-fab (less problems). So, what do you guys think is the best pre-fab? I was thinking Dell is probably the best. However, one thing I want to get is the video card with 2 outputs so I can have the 2 monitor system. Comments? Suggestions?
