    The worst part about this was that I was at the DZ from 9am until 7:30pm waiting for everyone to jump. This was 10.5 hrs of watching...and that's it! My wife and I had to watch the whole time. No jumpin. OH well.....this summer will make up for it!

    Hey all! This weekend, I took 14 people from my college down to Aerodrome Sky Sports in Richmond, IN to do their first tandems. That was a very cool feeling to go there and have all of these people land from under canopy with the hugest smile on their face (minus the one girl with puke on her face, on the instructor, jumpsuit, and harness

    Hey all! I am so happy that I have finally been published on dz.com. The stunt by Joe Jennings was a pretty cool idea! Man...hopefully one day I can afford to go to Cali and see him work sometime. Everything he does looks amazing!! I did this article after the thread about helping out Sangiro. Is anyone else doing anything for this?? I'm going to continue to write stuff as long as I get more ideas.     that is really cool that you've found a rig that you can use for a long time. Hopefully, when Laura and I find some rigs, I'll be able to find something versatile. Is this your 2nd rig overall?? I hope I don't have a tough time finding a good used 190 or so. I think I'll be about 220 or so OTD. Jeez...I may need something even bigger. Congrats and Happy Birthday, Pammi!!     Hey Zennie...I think that it is actually a Skyvan. It is the famous PINK skyvan from Europe. Stationed in Austria, if I'm correct. I posted that thread with the guys jumping from the roof and with it inverted. Pretty crazy bird!!

    I have seen one swoop in 3 DZ visits. It was my first visit when I was doing a tandem and I saw the guy as he went into it. It scared the HELL out of me!! Once I saw him land, someone by me was clapping and that calmed me a bit. I guess I didn't know about those yet.

    That is one good thing about having a serious JM. You know that he is totally focused on what he is doing. I am a firm believer in humor being able to help almost anything, but having the professionalism is very important too. Can't wait until all the whuffos make thier first tandem tomorrow!! There are 13 of them!!

    I guess it just depends how things ended. If you ended the relationship in a fist of fury, then, yeah, maybe things are going to happen like that. But, not all relationships end like that. Anyway, hopefully something as stupid as that wouldn't drive away people from the thing they love. KEEP THE PEACE ALL!!

    Well put sis! That is just another reason to get back to the DZ. Man, I can't wait to go down to the DZ tomorrow and watch 12 whuffos make their first tandem. That is going to be sweet.

    i got ahold of a lady from mr. tubesteak and she says that they are like 17 Canada $$ plus S/H. I think I may get a couple. those should be pretty cool! maybe i'll just get a new nickname with it

    Thanks, Merrick! That is excellent advice! We are both competative people, so that is going to be something to keep in mind. Hopefully, since we both are jumping, it won't be a problem
