Clocked it at 35 sec to 'cups', - 54 sec to pic/up-lft-crnr. As one with perhaps, third grade computer skills, (and a dial-up delivering 49.2 kbps as I squeak this out), my tendency is to right click the little box (the one with the geometric figures) before it loads... (wouldn't have known it would self-load if I hadn't been timing it) Impressive, I was very impressed with Ryan's comments & site as well. (Q. If you used MS pub.- what did he use?) Lu7k, D

As a diehard 7-cell pilot who has returned after 12 yrs out of sport, ( & limited knowledge of current technology - [this post is 1st I've heard of Big Air])), I find the idea of an air-locked 7-cell (Shogan) very interesting. Question; Do you use the same 'method' of canopy sizing as PD ? D Edit; I would think outsourcing through PD would be an excellent practice-I would not hesitate to buy a canopy of yours made by PD. Edit 2; Any pros/cons of airlocking a 7-cell lightly loaded (1.2:1) would be appreciated.

Consider; PD sizes diferently than most other manufactures... that is ..their numbers are smaller than actual size (in comparison) http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=19457; Examples; Note that PD 190/(size sq. ft) = 205 & PDr 176/(size sq ft) = 189. Find; (search) - PD canopy numbers (cruzlite) D

Quote; I have a bad habit of replying to the last poster and not the intended post. ----------------------------- I'm also guilty of this. (Esspecially less than helpful if 6 others are writting at the same time, and they all type faster than I) ----------------------------------------------------------- To return to the spirit of the original thread...... GBjr's delivery was as good or better than I can remember. On the other hand... I found Daschle's & Pelosi's delivery very diappointing. D

crossposted: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not one word about Osama bin Laden. Hmm. I guess as far as national priorities go, capturing the man responsible for 9/11 ranks somewhat lower than getting professional athletes to stop using steroids. -------------------------------------------------------- Whoever wrote this has a way with words,. Best critic I've heard yet. D

"But you're correct, I guess, those voted into Congress after 1983(4?) now also pay into SS as well." -------------------------------------------------------- I've been toying with an idea for some time now.... Since they refuse to pass term limits.................. Impose your own - It goes something like this........ (With the exception of those you feel are doing a good job), simply vote the encumbants out, and keep voting them out until they get the message!!--?? D

Exellent! Exactly what I was looking for > Thank you. D

Quote; My question about the second quote is how then does he intend to fund current Social Security payouts? Social Security is very much like a Ponzi scheme that relies on current "investors" to pay off people that invested before them. The entire Social Security system is flawed to be sure and if I were a young person just starting out working I'd get behind GWBs plan as quickly as I could, but as a person that has paid into the system for 29 years, I'd like it to be there in some form when I need it. Not that it probably will be, but I'd like to think it -could- be -- I'm still hopeful. ----------------------------------------------------------- Correct me if I'm wrong... Isn't it true that Gov. employees do not pay into SS? (& if so 'all gov. employees'?) D

I'm not seeing any "spin" yet. Unless you count the interviewers under 'Public speachs...', which is not a function of the site. D

311 Especially like the beak plants. Could see where this could become addictive to those raised in Catholic schools. D
