I've got a good list of skills for you. 1) Fly your body in freefall 200 times. 2) Deploy, fly, and land your canopy 200 times. Flying a wingsuit is easy, and the most important part of any skydive (especially your first wingsuit jumps) is the canopy ride. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Yes, if someone does he may be ready. But, if someone else does that, he may not be ready. The limit has to be set somewhere and it's set at 200. It's just a recommendation so feel free to to whatever you want. Just as the people who are giving instruction and leading flocks can do whatever they want. I can drive safely at 100mph in posted 70mph zones. Do you think the cop handing me the ticket cares about my abilities? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

You're referring to Jarno's words. It was pretty clear he meant "do 200 jumps first." www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Looks good, thanks! www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Just one, but I've already got one PM offering to sell me one privately, and the link posted for $10 bronze ones looks good too. I'm also considering just using fastex or rapide instead. Thanks! www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Three days later. Hello? You've accused us of "not wanting to defend our position" after we answered your questions, and then you ignored ours. Who is not defending whose position? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I posted a thread a while back about different methods for making a disconnectable freefly bungee (for using the same rig for wingsuit jumps). The common consensus was to use an RSL shackle with the bungee. Well, I have been to 3 different dropzones and rigging lofts and unable to find anybody with an RSL shackle in stock. They've also told me they're "expensive" but the best quote I can get is $35 for stainless and $10 for brass. I really don't care what it looks like, I just need to get one. Is it something I can pick up from a local hardware store? Also, is the material the bungee is made of something I can get at a hardware store? I had to cut my last bungee (couldn't get the knot out, whole reason I need the disconnect) and I'd like to have it all set up before I go to the DZ next weekend rather than have to bother the rigger again just for a little 6inch length of elastic. Thanks! www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Where has he stated a belief regarding gym/church attendance on Sunday mornings? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Great, now the stuff I've uploaded in the past is both letterboxed and pillarboxed. Or, just boxed. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Where has he stated a belief regarding gym/church attendance on Sunday mornings? Which basic belief did he sell out? Please tell me both what the belief was and how he sold it out. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Careful Bill, your sarcasm is starting to get too obvious. They might catch on. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

From thread drift here... Without a doubt, yes. And I am a better person for having that belief. Nothing you say or present will say otherwise. And yes, this comes from someone that had a relative murdered. Okay, so you can't follow instructions or forum protocol for keeping subjects on-topic in the appropriate place. Great, so we'll now fragment this thread into two different things. The person who started the thread drift by talking about the death penalty was you, so it's ironic that you would be the one to "give instructions" to stay on topic. Actually, that's not entirely accurate. Your off-topic post wasn't about the death penalty. It was about "stirring up the liberals." Which might have actually been on-topic, since I suspect that was the whole point behind the post. Anyway, to follow your instructions (am I doing it right?) I'll reply to you here. Yes, I am opposed to the execution of a guilty man. However, the execution of an innocent man is worse than the execution of a guilty man. So for somebody who is opposed to the death penalty to focus their attention on the potential for execution of innocents is not a "BS excuse"... it is simply focusing on the worst aspects of the problem. To suggest that she "doesn't want to defend her position" (right after she just defended it) really puzzles me. Now, we've both answered your question and you still haven't answered mine. When is the execution of an innocent man ever an acceptable form of collateral damage? And another. Why is it so important for you to see the guilty man die? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

This is pretty much the essence behind this whole thread. I've asked for the same thing 3 times already and of course nobody can offer it. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

So you won't raise a weapon or a hand to defend yourself and fight back if someone is trying to kill you? That's not the same thing and you know it. Self defense can be achieved without killing. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

How about his own statements about being a devout Christian, or the ads from his campaign, referenced above? Nope, I don't think those statements say anything about the relative importance of attending a church or a gym on a Sunday morning. Please show me if I'm wrong. I guess he's not as "devout" or "committed" a Christian as he claims, now is he? Only if he ever claimed that he would never go to the gym on a Sunday morning. Again, show me where he said that. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I don't disagree with you - it is serious. But saying it could be the next Great Depression sounds familiar: - We have to go to war in Iraq because they could be making a nuclear bomb. - Terrorists could be sneaking liquid explosives onto airplanes, so we should all throw out our bottled water. - The government could take away all our guns if we don't reign in those judges. - Vote yes on Prop 8 because all our kids could all end up gay and it'll be the end of the human race. The word could is an overused indicator of fear mongering. I would hate to see the new administration use it as a tool, the way the current administration has been using it for the last eight years. Yeh, I agree that many of your examples are bad coulds... because of the actions (war, waste, and prejudice) which result from jumping to conclusions too soon. However, what's the worst than can happen if we the people fear an economic depression? We save our money, stop living on credit, and in general take better notice of our own financial planning? The absence of these things is what led to this mess in the first place... In this case the action resulting from fear would be neither war, waste, nor prejudice... but instead savings and fiscal responsibility. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

You bring this shit up over and over again, and when people reply to you with the same point each time, you ignore them and refuse to comment on it. Several examples have been given of innocent people convicted of "heinous murder." What is your opinion on that? When is the execution of an innocent man ever an acceptable form of collateral damage? I have not seen you answer that question, you just repeatedly go on and on about how murderers need to die. I don't think anybody disagrees too strongly with that one. The major point of contention is that the government makes fucking mistakes, i.e. is not infallible in its criminal convictions. And I still haven't seen you address this issue. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Any one who cares needs to move to the Vatican. Ah - so hypocrisy only matters if it's a Republican doing it? He's only a hyprocrite if he ever said anything about the relative importance of attending a church or a gym on a Sunday morning. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Actually, I think if it wises people up to how serious this downturn is, that it could do good for the economy. There are still an unbelievable amount of people out there who think we're doing just fine and this will go away in a few more weeks. It is very serious, and it could be the next Great Depression. If people realize that now, and start spending their money more wisely and saving what they can while they can, it may help them out very much in the next few years. There are certain things an intelligent person should be scared of (and whether or not their country's leader prays to Jesus enough is not one of those things). www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I think you may be mis-interpreting my post. Where I added "racist" was as an addition to "wrong." So replace his "wrong" with "wrong and racist." So you are "wrong"..Ok So you don't think that calling all whites racist is a racist thing to say in itself? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

There you go putting words in people's mouths again. Where have I proclaimed superior knowledge? Please show me. All I said was that you don't know whether there are more black racists or white racists in the world. Guess what? Neither do I! My knowledge of those numbers is neither superior or inferior to yours. Neither of us know! You can't have an "opinion" about something like that (based on numbers). Opinions are based on subjective things such as taste or preference. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
