Whenever I see a fellow jumper in trouble, in freefall, seeing the resolution of those troubles takes priority for me over any other dive plan. Even if I couldn't have helped him physically pull, I would have wanted to keep him in sight for the many other good reasons mentioned in the bonfire thread. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Still talking shit about people not understanding physics, and still refusing to respond to my very simple logical deduction from your own posts. Is deductive reasoning taught at your university, or only physics?

I just got one of those too... first that I can remember on DZ.com. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Put your money where your mouth is, and land a wingsuit in the next 24 hours. Unless you're afraid of dying. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

One comment: when I bought my Icon (about 5 years ago), I found out the sizing chart on the website was wrong from Aerodyne's own sales rep. I wanted to get an I3 with Pilot 132 and Smart 135 (which was what THEIR sizing chart recommended), and he told me I needed an I4 for those canopies. I took his advice and it all fits perfect. I don't know if they've fixed their chart since then, or changed the container up, but if it's still the same, an I2 would fit a very small canopy I'd imagine. I load my 132 around 1.4-1.5. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

He doesn't need to know the size, you told him it was "large" implying you have a smaller one. . Ass-uming things can make you look like an ass. I haven't assumed anything, I've mentioned one possible implication of your statement. It's irrelevant to the primary discussion anyway how many suits you have, or how many details Butters or I know about any of them. You've clearly stated you add weight to flock with your large suit, which IS relevant, and you have seemingly abandoned that line of discussion by cutting it out of my post when you quoted it (or a tiny chunk of it). I am still interested in your comments on this logical deduction. 1) If you use your large suit to flock, then you add more mass. 2) If more mass, then more wake. --------------------------------------- Therefore: If you use your large suit to flock, then there is more wake. The premises were both stated by you. The conclusion was rejected by you. What are we all missing? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

He doesn't need to know the size, you told him it was "large" implying you have a smaller one. You've also said: 1) If you use your large suit to flock, then you add more mass (in the very situation Butters originally commented on). 2) If more mass, then more wake. --------------------------------------- Therefore: If you use your large suit to flock, then there is more wake (the conclusion that follows your own premises). www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I am all too familiar with the youtube effect you describe, as I'm sure we all are. "Did you see that one video of the guy flying next to the rocks???" But to your other point, I don't think the influx of people into proxy flight will get much worse in the future than it has in the past 5 years... this kind of stuff has been in the public eye for quite some time already, and even longer in the eye of people who already skydive (I saw Superterminal for the first time almost 6 years ago). www.WingsuitPhotos.com

My guess: in 10 years we'll have one more brand of suit (no different than the others) to argue about on the internet. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I really doubt the drag of a yoke and chest strap is large enough to warrant burying them in a suit. If you're that concerned about extra drag you might want to get a nose job. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make in that massive paragraph. If the point is that every student has had a teacher at one point in their lives, well yes, that should be obvious. If the point is that nobody but the very first teachers should be able to construct instructional programs, well no, that is silly. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, I've had to cancel my trip. I will miss seeing everybody, but I'm sure there will be other chances to hang out soon!

Hey, I updated my site! CLICK FOR PICS www.WingsuitPhotos.com -
Yeh, that shot was a tease, we needed to see more! But great video overall, looking forward to one with more complete flights. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Man About Town: We did an interesting version of the flying vag dive today at Lodi which I'd never seen before. Totally flat, 2D... penetrators flying through the apex of a flat V. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Is that the FLB.com color scheme? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I don't think I'd WANT to experience that. No offense to those who do choose to take the risk. It sure does look fun. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Hi backward speed flocks? Low speed exits? 1D flocks? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Totally 100% agree!. Except for "Raising Arizona", where I thought he was fantastic. (so, 99.9% agree.) But then, I think his character in that movie was totally suited to his real personality and acting persona. Agreed, but I'd say Adaptation slightly edges out Raising Arizona for Cage's best performance. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Well in 2007 (?) they covered Purple Mike with something sticky (?) and feathers and everyone called him a chicken. It was like a less painful version of tar and feathers. Perhaps with your rotten bucket they can call it chicken soup? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Sounds like you just gave everyone an idea. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
