To go up with a BMI we recommend 200 jumps in the past 18 months and the right gear (a docile canopy, mainly). By your jump numbers and canopy (Pilot) in your profile, you are good to go. Find me or Scott at the BirdMan tent and we'll talk more.

Katee, as the above poster pointed out, I simply "grabbed" one frame of the video I shot. It's basically like hitting pause. With 30 frames/second, it is easy to get one from the right moment in time... unfortunately the quality of a video frame cannot be nearly as good as a still photograph. Scott, myself, and Perry all started off on the outside of the plane (Perry on the step, myself and Scott in the door). I exited one split second before Scott. Perry hung on while everybody else piled out the door after me and Scott. I will post that video sooner or later... Eric, that is some very nice backflying in that pic! And a very nice face too. Hmm, reminds me of something Perry said on the plane on Friday night. "Guys, this is the last one for me today - I can't feel my left leg anymore." Regardless, the nice pic you posted has only reinforced my desire for a still camera. I have the money now but I'm gonna force myself to wait. Only 50 jumps with video and I'm not even close to doing what I want with it. Would be stupid to try to learn something else new before I even master this. Even if I do miss a few nice shots in the process... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Feel free to start the lucrative offers! Seriously, I appreciate the invite and it sounds like a blast, I also would love to visit Australia not just for the skydiving, but I can't afford it time and money wise right this minute. Maybe next time.

What was the mal? Were you flying the Pilot listed in your profile? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Heh, I've been emailing Scott Bland about this myself, for the past couple days. I can't speak with any authority but I am pretty damn sure it will be at Zhills. And sometime in March, if I had to guess. I invited Norman Kent this weekend and he wants to come if the dates are right, so I also want to get them hammered down soon. Scott Bland, where are you? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Some more fun grabs.

Frame grab from the weekend. Video to come later, hopefully. This would have made an awesome picture if I had a still camera... Flyers are Scott Campos and Scary Perry. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Obviously I don't know much about freefly competition standards, I guess I assumed flyers wore inside video too. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Hmm, what if you have to do a spock? Yes, I'm replying to an ancient post... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I was talking about the person whose POV it is (hereafter "3rd man"). The two being filmed obviously are both surprised by the near collision so were unaware, but it is hard to say if the "3rd man" is unaware of the guy to his upper right... the guy is out of frame but maybe our 3rd man has his eyes on him. Although the camera shakes a bit when the upper right guy enters the frame, which maybe implies that it surprised the 3rd man. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Hmm, I prefer dropping them from 1000 ft... it is true they are much easier to lose that way, but I have a few reasons why I don't like to drop them lower, specifically from 100 ft. 1) At 100 ft I want to be focusing on flying my canopy 100%. When I drop the guy at 1000 ft he goes straight back and up, and I never see him again until I am on the ground, and he is about halfway down (or I don't see him at all if the winds shift 90 degrees, which is how I lost my last one). 2) I like to make the guy's target the same as mine, i.e. the peas. That means you have to drop him upwind of the target. The only way to do that at 100 ft is to land downwind or make a ridiculously low 180 degree turn, and land in a deep hole (dug by you) next to your guy, waiting for the ambulance to come. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I have about 30 camera jumps now, all in a wingsuit, and have noticed the extra things going on in my brain, and that I have to be aware of tunnel vision. In defense of the guy shooting the footage, it is at least possible he was aware of the guy in the upper right and was watching with his eyes (but not his head). I have learned to move my eyes to stay aware of my surroundings while keeping the camera steady. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I dunno about that, but I used to be into BMX and some of my old friends who still ride said that they were riding an empty parking lot a couple months ago, in South FL, when Hulk pulled up in a monster truck. Apparently he said "what up, wild dogs?", talked some shit about his new TV show, and then burned out and left. Pretty funny. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Wait a minute, is this 2 suits in addition to the Classic (?) I was holding onto for you? Either way, that is at least 3 wingsuits you've bought in 12 jumps? And didn't I overhear you saying to somebody this weekend that you have bought 4 skydiving rigs in 300 jumps? I think you have a problem, girl... But Kris has still got you beat as far as wingsuits go. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Wow, I just ordered a couple guys for myself from: http://www.powscience.com/store/fascinations/aeromax2000.html This store kicks ass... within 3 hours after ordering I got an email telling me they had shipped my order AND upgraded shipping since the difference was so small. Once all these guys I ordered go in (get lost), I will be making future orders from this same store... I highly recommend them. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I'm not getting involved in this argument at all, but I'm curious - do you seriously walk around your house with a gun all the time? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

No biggie. That one's on my list too.

Not much help? It answers the only question you asked - who's going to be there. I don't understand. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
