  1. Terry Schumacher makes one that I haven't seen listed for sale, but he does sell it. Get in touch with him... I am attaching one pic he sent me. I am also attaching a pic of Brett Thomas' CCM (Wes Rich style). I am making one myself but probably will not do the internal sight (too much work based on how I made my shell). Brett has the internal sight (and a kickass helmet overall). He told me you need a perfectly vertical front wall for this to work. Good luck. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

  8. I make it a point to use a song nobody else would be very likely to use. As such I would not throw any recommendations out there. I have about 2000 albums in my mp3 collection and when I start a new video project I usually take a whole day trying to decide what song to use. Download videos from my website to see what I've used in the past. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  9. Two more assumptions inherent in this post: Who says the higher dimensions have physical properties at all? How do we even know there are higher dimensions? www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  10. Gee, you'd think the title was "can you imagine..." for a reason! Technically, you can't prove next week exists. I think the theories are fairly sound, and at the very least, interesting. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  11. As I understood that theory, ten is the top. The tenth includes every potential reality, at every point in space and time. The guy even says that near the end. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  12. What is the group rate for a suite at Maracayo? www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  13. Yup, I got my Skydiving mag today (much earlier than usual) and there is an ad with those dates. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  14. Ha, Omar hasn't been at the DZ in a while, but Jeff and I finally pulled off one of Omar's creations that he calls the Scary Roll (the FlyLikeBrick guys call it a Double Whammy). Me on my back, Jeff on his belly, we take a dock and then while holding the dock, barrel roll the entire linked 2-way. We'll have to work on it some more and get some video. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  15. I'm not sure why people always say this, and I'm not siding with any "brand" here - I have and S3 and an Acro. The S3 has almost 400 jumps on it and it still going strong. The Acro is new and seems built very well, indeed, but no better than the S3. There were actually two very minor problems with the build/quality of the Acro, right off the back, that were easily fixed (I also have fixed at least 2 things on my S3). But overall both suits are top-notch, as far as build quality is concerned. The Acro is proving to be a lot of fun to fly too, and I can float easily as slow as I can with my S3, still feeling a bit sluggish when I need to punch hard forward (as expected) but it's not as bad as I had feared it would be. It's great for backflying under a formation - I finally have the forward/backward control, while on my back, that was so much more difficult to achieve in the S3. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  16. That's exactly what I meant, Mike. In fact, one of the folds almost crashed down on top of me as I went through. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  17. Already done. For those who aren't familiar with the dive, check out the Z-Flock 2.5 video. From 3:08-3:14 is my footage of the triple penetration, as I follow Omar and Chuck through the ring. Omar goes first and does one and a half barrel rolls as he penetrates (this drives the girls wild), followed by Chuck doing some weird front flip flail. From 3:16-3:23 is Omar's footage of the same sequence (watch for the smiley-finger) and from 3:24-3:30 is Chuck's viewpoint. More penetration indeed, Scott! That last one was kind of sloppy... we need a tighter formation. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  18. I called two different hotels and both of them said there was no skydiver discount available. Guess everybody is "on vacation". Call me silly for sounding doubtful, but if the hotel promised me there would be discounted jump tickets at the boogie, I wouldn't believe them either. You are advertising something that neither hotel will confirm. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  19. You might want to consider having a secure website if you are taking credit card numbers over the web. Most people wouldn't (shouldn't) want to put their financial information into an unsecure webform. I will be phoning mine in, when I register, if that is possible. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Thanks, Spot. Does the same thing happen (dropouts) after re-using (reading) a tape many, many times? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Tell me this, Spot (I really don't know the answer). I hear a lot that DV tapes should not be re-recorded, and after many many viewings that the data can degrade. I understand the signal is digital, but was thinking if the claim is true, maybe it is because of the physical tape construct being much more susceptible to degradation over time than a more rigid magnetic disk. Do magnetic DV tapes actually exhibit "analog-like" behavior, as I've been told so many times? I'd really like to know the truth here. Thanks. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

That's why I said I render JPG's when I need to "use" it for something. I keep PSD's for myself, I render JPG's or TIFF's for distributing or printing. As DSE said, this is not true (though I was not aware this was a common misconception, as he states). It is a fundamental of digital computing that you cannot alter a file by viewing it. This really has nothing to do with file formats or JPG's anymore. To reiterate: viewing a JPG (or any digital file for that matter) does not "degrade it". You can only alter digital data by writing digital data. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Personally, I save PSD's (and original JPG from camera, of course) and only render a JPG when I need to use it for something. And I'm sure you just worded it wrong, but opening (reading) and closing a JPG will not recompress it. Only re-writing it will. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
