    Skydive Miami in Homestead will be your closest! If you get the chance take a drive up the coast and visit Sebastian, too! We have lots of Ft. Lauderdale & Miami located people who drive up here for the weekend to play with us.

    It will be good, it has to be. We have students and a couple of freefly teams coming to train and some of our regular winter campers showing up about the same time and then the whole CrossKeys Invasion!

    Captain Hirams just reopened the restaurant portion today. Wouldn't it be funny to have a ton of skydivers turn up in their pj's to be seated? Pizza would be much easier, though! There may be a substitution for the trampoline - but it's a really cool substitution. Really, really cool and very similar. A slim chance we may still have the tramp but I keep thinking about broken necks on New Years Eve and hospitals and all that fun stuff... not that we wont be able to break necks on this either.

    Well if you've only jumped at Z-hills & Deland you've missed out on quite a bit in Florida! You should definately check out all the dz's - they all have their own little niche.

    really! I want to know what wooning is too before I do it at least! shimmell doesn't need to steal your sympathy he already gets special treatment. When he came to the keys boogie two years ago - I even gave up my bed to him! (I just turned around and stole someone else's but...) When did the no penises, penis - what is a plural penis anyways - rule come up? I don't remember that and I'm not sure I like it. Sounds very boring.

    Actually today has turned out very nice! Warm and sunny with light winds - and tomorrow is supposed to be good too!

    while breeding can play a part A BREED is not at fault. You can breed in or out agressiveness to an extent. Those agressive breeds were deliberately bred that way at one point in time. You can have very lovable, docile pit bulls, rotties, dobbermans, akitas, german shepards - you name it just like you can have vicious collies, labs and retrievers. What you usually have is negligent and stupid owners as well as just plain sadistic owners. Shit... why'd I even start thinking about this...

    If the clouds do not go away from over the top of Sebastian soon - I am going to go insane! Two hurricanes aren't enough, noooooo, we need to be grounded for a good week with either howling winds or low cloud cover. Whomever has the voodoo doll, put it away - you've played with it enough now. If you keep it up kharma is going to really kick you hard in the ass for this one. It's got to break soon - everyone come back and help us celebrate the return of the sun when it does. Send us some happy thought....... for my sanity at least...

    More news for this one. Aerodyne is sponsoring the event - I believe they are providing T-shirts for the Jam! Sunpath is also a proud sponsor - they will be sponsoring the Odyssey Salloon with free shots for registered people and lower prices on beer for registered jumpers. PD is sponsoring the Chicken Shit contest - yes, chicken shit! You can win money if the chicken shits on you - oh, I mean your number - not you. The bull is a go - it will be there. There will be prizes for bullriding! Pre-registration price is $20.00 - I'm not sure what the day of is - they haven't told me, yet.

    What do you mean even though I don't care? Not that I do... Don't be such a baby - I drove my manual transmission to Raeford from here with a broken arm and then onto CrossKeys and all the way back to Sebastian - so quit wussing and get down here. We'll all fawn all over you and take turns waving the big leafy thing and feeding you grapes while you lie on the couches in the sun watching everyone else jump. You can tell us all about the horrors of your surgery and how much pain you are in to get more sympathy. No, seriously, for you we can wait right up to the last second to find out if you are coming or not.

    Hmmm.. no one's mentioned Sebastian - with it's strong British ties and fantastic view and a rigging loft? You'll need some kind of parachuting membership, though. You can get a temporary uspa good for 30 days for $15.00. No bunkhouse, though - camping only. You can usually find a skydiver renting a room in the area though to people passing through.

    Well, you should, of course, be here all day so that you can skydive as well. Food? people eat food on New Year's??? - I guess we should. Bring whatever you'd like - it's all welcome.

    Unless I get swamped with requests that is a big Negative!! NY eve night jumps are always a little scary to me - accidents waiting to happen - unless you take the participants and lock them away from the rest of the world after a blood test and a strip search along with the pilot.

    You should all head to Sebastian just a little bit earlier. We are having a pj slumber party in the main hangar for New Year's complete with trampoline. Come on take a few more days off and head down early.

    I've known people from Orange for a long time but only went there for the first time last year. I'd heard crazy stories. It wasn't as scary as I expected! Actually, very nice and a lot of fun! Make sure you go out and count the numbers! You might find it a little clicky just until you get to know everyone. Not because they are that way - they are just close knit - all know each other very well. The outdoor showers are the bomb - at least in the summertime.

    His Keys Boogie rocks! Everytime I go somewhere it's playing and I get sucked back in. I know he has a hard time getting away on the weekends but if we start working on him now and all promise to buy a copy - maybe that will work! I'll start emailing him - cynci - you work on him, too!

    The standard rule is if you take your shoes off they aren't supposed to mess with you whether or not you fell asleep or passed out. Now we just have to determine whether or not slippers count as shoes.

    Actually, for Macca I could buy some of those sulfur cubes or the little tubes that you throw on the floor and stomp on. They clear a room real fast! So now as soon as the zoo bar is finished being repaired (slow but sure, it's getting close) we will be starting to replace all the really nasty fixtures in the bathrooms. If you haven't seen them - you've really missed out. The water was so nasty it would corrode anything. Nothing worked very well. The missing tiles in the bathrooms are going back down either this week or next week. Things are looking up.

    It's a theme party, people. Bring your pj's and your fuzzy bunny slippers. We are having a PJ party/Slumber party. The hangar will be done up for the party and anyone is welcome to stay there for the night. We are going to have some fun & games & general silliness going on. For those of you who have unfond memories like I do of standing around the fire trying desperately to fight off the cold - forget it - we will move the tiki bar action inside the hangar as well, with the music & some heaters. Bring your sleeping bags, airmattresses and whatever else you need but make sure you have your pajamas. Non-PJ wearing people will be outcasts, probably beaten with pillows and sprayed with silly string until they run to Wal-mart and join the fun.
