Should Europe and the rest of the world disarm the USA
christelsabine replied to Skyrad's topic in Speakers Corner
Ahem, we do not have. Not of your own construction. But under NATO "nuclear sharing", Germany has American nukes at it's base in Büchel, ready for use in time of war, by German warplanes. American troops are there on your soil also, defending your nation, with nukes if necessary. So your response is misleading, it should have been: "Yes, we do have." You are the beneficiary of the deterrent value of a nuclear arsenal, provided by Americans, pledged to defend you from attack. But hey, I'm all for pulling all U.S. troops and military equipment out of Germany and making you pay for the entire cost of your own darned defense. Then we'd see how long you would be comfortable nestled up against Russia without having your own nukes for deterrence. Büchel basis is maintained by the US only and the only one in Germany (not far from my hometown). Not one single European (soldier) is allowed to enter that area w/o beeing accompanied by an authorized US person. Hey, you're not alone with your meaning: Me and million other Germans too would prefer to see these about 20 nuclear weapons vanish back into the US. Fact is, these are American nuclear weapons. Turn it upside down, it remains the same: We do not own nuclear weapons. We do not build, we do not store. In near future, those US hopefully will be gone. We're working on that. BTW: You know that our diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation are amicable. We're not really in a fear beeing attacked by our Russian friends sooner or later..... dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Should Europe and the rest of the world disarm the USA
christelsabine replied to Skyrad's topic in Speakers Corner
Quite surprising that I should explain to you what "Europe", the "young" Europe means. Your reply regarding "Paki(s)" is lowest level for a lawyer, meaningless bubbles. In fact, means nothing. I know what I'm talking about, my husband is a lawyer, too. Lawyers are not the same all over the world, it seems. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

christelsabine replied to Skyrad's topic in Speakers Corner
You must really yes really do not know enough about Europe to come up with such an idi*tic statement - Europe as a whole is clearly accepted. Don't forget, it's young .. If you do not do the same: Who cares? Perhaps, in not too near future, news about "Europe" will reach Middle resp. South America, too? Jesus. Somewhere are limits, don't ya know? dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

MMMM Right... its not like Germany and Japan have ALWAYS stuck to treaties in the past We have to. We're under control (Ask your president) Japan (even beeing the only country which suffered from atomic bomb attacks) voluntarily ceded any nuke ideas. Show me a country which ALWAYS stuck to treaties in any past ..... start with your own. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

Super Puma jumps in Switzerland - a monster machine reaching altitude in about 3 - 4 minutes, exit velocity? About 160 km/h, no seconds to count - just jump! Jumps out of small heli Eurocopter, Switzerland too. Landscape in Switzerland is breath taking! Some jumps out of Alouette in Empuriabrava - I enjoyed these the most, absolutely wonderful: Few seconds falling into the absolute silence and - woah! Here we are again. Heli jumps are so special.

Should Europe and the rest of the world disarm the USA
christelsabine replied to Skyrad's topic in Speakers Corner
You do not really believe a nation holding the atomic bomb and its technology in hand needs to "threaten" anyone, right? Did any one of the others (such like Pakistan, India, Israel) "declare" something? It's the fact itself. You know it, I know it. BS, like usual. Your posts. Holy Crab, you seem to be one of last Mohawks fighting for hundred years old ideals. Wooosh Again, reality missed you (or vice versa). dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

christelsabine replied to Skyrad's topic in Speakers Corner
The expert was already there: Oppenheimer, born in NY City He built the 1st atomic bomb. Buy yeah, it was Einstein informing the Yanks that Hitler's intention was to produce a certain sheer addtion enabling him to build the bomb. That was the beginning. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

Scotland: Attempted murders with guns triple in decade
christelsabine replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Ok, yes I know, Swiss men are armed from toes to teeth - but: Just in the cupboards, where they use to keep their army weapons (they are obliged to). That's it. Just fancy that: Half of Swiss population is fully armed, and what do those idiots do? Nothing. Leave them at home, hidden in drawers and such. Some more info: Especially in rural environments, they do-not-even-lock their doors! Been there, done that, have seen it so many times .... Funny folks, right? -
Scotland: Attempted murders with guns triple in decade
christelsabine replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Let me try: It's an impossible thing to protect every single individual, correct. That's not necessary in healthy, social working societies. Why do unarmed poor idiots like Swiss folks, Austrian, North Europeans such as Swedish ones ... just walk around all their lifetime unarmed? We do so, too. So why do you need? Don't get me wrong: Arm yourselves as much as you like, I really don't care. Agreed. The more sources they find, the better they are equipped. Pls answer me a question: How about the early morning/late evening runnings? Are you running fully armed? This morning, it was pitch-black when I left for a short run, tonight it was deep dark too while leaving home for another one. I did that w/o any gun - am I myopic or what? dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

Dear, I never said "never spoke". Look at OP, it's JR's thread (again). I/we simply post replies. Show me a thread where any European started any thread complaining about US citizens' armament or - more precise - about your lovely 2nd Amendment. Have fun searching. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Scotland: Attempted murders with guns triple in decade
christelsabine replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
See? There you have it: .... wouldn't have happened if that evil gun would not have been available to that idiot....that easy! Oh yeah I know what'll be your reply: ... It's not gun, it's men .... bla. It's the weapon in the hand(s) of millions! And those are the millions with the finger(s) on the trigger. How can "YOU" know if these millions really are rational enough to carry such a weapon? Jesus, just the imagination of beeing surrounded of thousands of weapons in a US city makes my toe nails curl! 99,999 % of our brave citizens are unarmed while doing thier daily biz, how did they/we manage to survive and breed??? dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Scotland: Attempted murders with guns triple in decade
christelsabine replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
HOW to SHOW you? Ha, ask your local sheriffs. They know. Your "bad" guys know. (I know it's only the bad guys which put their hands on weapons, I know) Holy Christ, just open your newspapers every morning (perhaps available at your place, too?) and have a look. And after, ask yourself the question why the heck another gun shooting tragedy took place, and where the hell, all those weapons are coming from? Hint: Availability at every corner. Perhaps self-explanatory? Thx for that ... dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Scotland: Attempted murders with guns triple in decade

.... It's a case of one group telling the other how to live our lives. Fuck off. I'm an American, and I don't give a flying fuck (or any other variety of fuck) how Europeans run their respective countries. You want to pooh-pooh our laws? Here's a nice warm cup of Kill Yourself. Dear, I didn't find any Thread Here Where Europeans Are Going To Slag Off Your "Rights...." (including your 2nd Amendment). If you feel offended by threads about mass shootings in American schools, malls, cities etc., which permanently are on front pages of papers - that's different. Most non-Americans just see the violence behind that, partially caused more than 200 million guns in private hands. I do not need same situation here. Perhaps Mr. Clever-John-McCain could convince us of the contrary? ("No guns for bad guys!") What a strong argument! Bwahahaha.... I'm sure nobody from the other side of the pond wants to scratch anything off your laws. Enjoy them like we do with ours. PS: Oh well, JohnRich, don't let go and let nobody stop you in your holy cruisade - how about another European country, such like Switzerland f. e., where relationship between citizen:gun is about 2:1??? Ever had a look at their "crime gun rate"? (It's a lot of google-ing around, I know I know but ...) dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Driving in the USA = risking jailtime?
christelsabine replied to VincentVL.'s topic in Speakers Corner
Did that happen to one of your friends? Involuntary manslaughter - if f.e. you oversee a traffic light as you said, it's clearly a criminal offence. My solicitor just told me (my g/f), also working on international fields. BTW: Same is valid here in Germany. I simply cannot imagine any country, in which you'd get away exempt from punishment in such cases as mentioned. If that should stand for jail might depend on local authorities and vary. Slip behind the wheel and just drive like you use to do anywhere in the world - I never broke my head while beeing on North American roads. Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
National Academy of Sciences takes a stand
christelsabine replied to kallend's topic in Speakers Corner
(He surely does not want to do that damn thing!) So, in order to prevent any influence on your kids from outside: Remove TV, radio, every single DVD, lock the doors, close the windows, drive away neighbours' kids, stomp every comic into the can.... Perhaps that might prevent your kids to get into contact with anyone else (instead you) telling/showing them anything regarding sex. I doubt that. You will lose ground, dear. Anyhow. There ALWAYS will be another one teaching your kids infos about sex, if you like it or not. And that's a good thing. They have their own understanding, give them the chance to decide. Just stay beside, listen, watch and LET THEM THINK! Damned. dudeist skydiver # 3105
