Me? Pissed? Nope. He's none of my biz. I do not support the one or other side of you(r) folks Just surprised that there still is a person existing which still believes in a proper election process in regards of GWB dudeist skydiver # 3105

Well, Rush, that's a job Georgieboy is dealing with on a daily basis. Listen to him, look at him ... And this is only a sketchy view. dudeist skydiver # 3105

He never was smart. His cronies lifted him into the saddle. His cronies supported him to sit. And that's what he is: A president on stilts, unable to walk alone much less to talk alone. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Jesus, that looks scary - kudos to the pilot I only experienced one go-around while approaching the old Hongkong airport - all was just fun, we were drunken and enjoyed reeling and rocking while the genius of a pilot did his best to save us from getting wet feet .... dudeist skydiver # 3105

Rioting in the streets of Belgrade, Serbia
christelsabine replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
Yep. Thanks for reminding all of us. I'm with you, mate. Have to remind myself from time to time.. Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Yep, we do so here, clouds at least should be not lower than 1000m. Rain clouds are "fun" to jump if you're a bellyflyer. Remember my very first: Pain in the face all the time down. Hurts like needles Later, while sitting, it did not hurt the a** at all It's great to jump into clouds, I really do enjoy it.

Rioting in the streets of Belgrade, Serbia
christelsabine replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
What kind of reply is THAT now? Do you know how many of HUNDREDS of thousands died after the US decided to drop 2 atomic bombs over Japan?!?! (Sorry for that somewhat unqualified reply) Jeez, Amazon. I always liked your posts. But, this time it's just BS. It still seems to be a given fact that the US does not understand the *roots* of Europeans, *we* do live on one continent. That's just interconnecting. PS: About +/- 60 yrs after WWII, American troops still raped and killed innocent girls in Iraq..... dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Rioting in the streets of Belgrade, Serbia
christelsabine replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
What a BS. Since when is it needed to be "bad" for the US to start a war somewhere else?? Jeez, your historical knowledge is overwhelming. Ever heard about Milosewic and what he did in the Kosovo during the nineties? Man, there is a Serbia without a Kosovo, ever heard that?!? I'll refrain from answering to your "..... just like the Palestinians." That's a different building site; I doubt you know more about it than about Serbia. Firebombing is the answer, always, right? Holy shit. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

Media dramatization regarding US shooting incidents
christelsabine replied to vortexring's topic in Speakers Corner
Nor did I, either. It's a simple biz - seen from media's side. It's a proven fact that some sort of killers/suicides/mass murderers are drooling over attention, which they usualy are missing sorely (with)in their normal lifes, families, jobs etc. Results of those poor individuals' lifes - such as mass shootings - will be shown in the media. Media is selling those news - et voilà: Turnover rises. There is nothing to be blamed on the media at all. They're just a speaking tube. Personally, amongst others I blame those shootings on the easy access to weapons. But, that's another thread. Correct, JohnRich? Christel BTW Vortexring: We still do love and appreciate everly little bit of news about that lovely princess called Diana - let them investigate as long as possible ... dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Media dramatization regarding US shooting incidents
christelsabine replied to vortexring's topic in Speakers Corner
Vicariously, media is always involved, w/o mainly having any influence on the event itself. We know that mentally disordered individuals highly do appreciate the presence of media - they need attention. Means, they use media. And media needs those folks. That's how it works. Supply and demand. Please, kindly correct me if I'm wrong. (Ya know, beeing an alien, and such...) It's same here. OK, we only had very few sensational "events" like school shootings but, in the end, reasons almost always were the same: Catching attention. Media is giving attention quickly. Supply and demand. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

How did you're first Hop & Pop go?
christelsabine replied to Sletzer's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Hop 'n pop was not that thrill to me - after AFF was finished, 10 consults were done, I had to exit at 1500 m. OK, door openend, I did a stable exit and fool I was: Placed my hand on hackey, 500 m lower it still was placed there and then, suddenly: Fool, pull!! OK, done. On my video, later I saw that all of the time, my hand was perfectly placed on hackey but, I did not pull! Don't know why. At 1000m I pulled, all went well. I love hop'n pops. Doing a good exit, beeing stable quickly, pulling, everything is OK. Next were from 1200m, I loved it and still do. No need to be nervous. Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
A majority of African citizens was/is giving a sh*t on colonization. Their mentality still is thinking like the (former and actual) wandering tribes. They were and still are clannish. Borders have been fixed by colonial powers, not those clans. Again, something linke "a whole" rudimentary only might exist in SA or does exist in the very northern states of Africa, thus surely affected by tourism market which does in fact not change their real mentality. What you call "those societies" mainly are old clans, (steeped in tradition) which we, the westerns have to understand. Do not try to apply your westerner tools on them. OTOH: Their students, given the chance to go to Europe or the US for studies, are amongs the best, worldwide. It's no surprise, that's reality and does work fine with their history. Perhaps we could learn a bit of them? Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105

Is there anything better than ....(Omi's) Rusks?? Rusks, some bottles of cold water and again ... rusks!! I just love them. It was my elixir in the Kalahari. Nothing else was needed, no Biltong, just rusks and few drops of Amarula from time to time. (A bottle would've done same job, for sure - and did!) Thanks God I found an African shop here: The owner is our best friend now! Rusks are a must!! God bless Amarula. And rusks. (And the endless silence of Kalahari, sigh...) dudeist skydiver # 3105

There Has Been a Lack of Bush Bashing Iraq Posts Lately
christelsabine replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
A lack of .... what?? Just have a look at all those replies: Dashing everbody's brain out like there's no tomorrow - you guys are so funny We REALLY should come back to essential things: Bashing Bush as long as it's still possible, guys dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
There is no Africa As A Whole. That's contradiciton in terms. Only an "Africa" as a continent is existing. Not your US nor our European way of thinking or dealing with economy, internal issues, foreign affairs ..... you name it, could be applied for Africa "as a whole". Also religions draw a line: Northern African parts are mainly Islamic, going south, you'll find Christianity. Not to mention various traditional religions.... No answer at all. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Jesus That is just South Africa, only one of many African countries. (Not to mention the "real" problematical countries) And there still are many Europeans dreaming of a life in SA, even it might be behind barbed wire fences and guarded by armed private forces.... Subsahara Africa will not see any common denominator in the near future, and the "white" and modern SA still is fighting on too many home fronts w/o visible results. Beeing just a short time visitor, (one has) I have no closer insight. That's a pity as it means, only media could be of help hahaha.... Inside the SA, f.e. having a look on Free State (yes, Blomfontein is absolutly wonderful!) and Kwa Zulu-Natal on the other hand: What a difference. When crossing the townships by car (on the wrong side ) on my way to Mpumalanga, I met millions of friendly (black) people (again:I was just a visitor in holidays), as I tend to lose my way; I never felt in danger. Funny that or was I just being naive? No matter why, SA is attractive. So are all multicultural countries. (And persons, as well) Let's have a fine Amarula on that, such a lovely stuff

Foreign perspective regarding US Presidential elections
