Under the name of "saving one life", you can justify literally anything. Beware of what you ask for. Banning cars would save a lot of lives. Would that therefore make it something you think should be done? JohnRich, that may apply to your mother country. It surely does. Go home, caress all your weapons and feel good with it. There are other cultures feeling safe and good w/o beeing armed from toes to teeth. Small little dirty cultures like my German one. It's 23.30 now, for tomorrow's breakfast there is missing some cheese! Right now, I will go to the next gas station with a shop and buy some cheese! And I will go completely un-armed! That's what I enjoy. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Marine general claims it is fun to kill
christelsabine replied to SkyDekker's topic in Speakers Corner
The two things (shooting and killing) are not necessarily the same. For example, a hunter might say he enjoys hunting, but not killing. Or a murderer might say he enjoys killing, but not shooting. A target shooter might enjoy shooting, but never kill anything. Quote Do not tell me anything about a difference between shooting and killing. I AM a hunter since more than 15 yrs, and if a shoot, I want to kill. Otherwise, I could've stayed at home and watch TV. This man said it's funny to shoot at somebody. He confirmed that he's enjoying to shoot. He wants to shoot, he's aiming, he wants to kill. And he wants to tell this to the world. Why? That's his secret. He simply is doing a disserve to his country with such statements. That's reason why I do complain. That's not a US bashing. But to tell the truth: What I heard, noticed, read in the last weeks, not only watching and listening, your glorious leader GWB, is scaring me. Why does megalomania comes into mind? B/c there once was someone? The word "war" is too popular presently. Sorry, I am discursive. Just one last word: Even in war (where in this thread?) , there are ethics. Rules. Right? dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

Quote It's stuff like this that I have a problem with. Quote I do understand you. But: What will you, as a single person, do to change a complete culture with all his consequences? You cannot. And furthermore: It is not "your" job, it is nobody elses job. Leave them alone. Impossible to transfer your way of (American) life to another culture. Smallest possible example: When I'm somewhere in South Europe, f. e. Italy, I really do enjoy to sit all night long with all neighbours in front of the house, to drink wine, little kids running around us.

No. No flaw. Problem is, these Neo's have so many good contacts to the US Neo's. There are so many of them, it's incredible. Why does the US allow that? Just a question. Rest assured, ours are not forgotten, we have an eye on them. In the US, they have much more rights to spread their ideas, it's incredible.... But, that is not the title of this thread, right? These idiots do not have the audience to tell the world how funny it is to shoot at someone, yeah, how great it is, yeah, how much they enjoy their job. Yeah. And just BTW: How to compare actual killing confessions with the Neo-Nazis? Nice little diversion, right? dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

These scary folks are standing in front of an audience. Cameras. They represent the US. That's scary. Not everybody on this site or watching TV or living in US or Europe is a marine and therefore, familiar with war: What this man said, is leaving a dirty spot on the US. Scary. My personal impression. I feel scared now. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

... I guess if he's involved in a firefight with someone who beats up women and ... Quote When did he learn, this "someone" is beating up women? Did any-/someone tell him before, during or after the firefight? Just would like to know an explanation for such a poor explanation. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
I've been in some tight spots where a pie could well have saved me some grief, and all that was available was a pain au chocolat. This is why I am never too far away from a pie these days. If you are going to take your patisserie welfare seriously, get a pie. Its good for anyones constitution. Pain au chocolat in huge quantities is also causing pain on my hips, as jeans are becoming smaller and smaller suddenly.. ROFLMAO ..... straight into our carnival days dudeist skydiver # 3105

I have been to a couple of camps (but not Auschwitz) and it is a very useful and shocking learning experience. Everyone who can do so should. It made me become an opponent against any form of bigotry - no matter against who. Some SC posters with only thinly disguised racism against other cultures and religions should take a tour. I do agree. You only can talk about it if you've been there. Finally, I am a German but, how to change what happend so many years ago? My son was 18 when we visited Auschwitz. We were deeply shocked. Impossible to describe. Leaving this place with shaking hands and feet. I was the car driver. My son and his two friends startet to discuss about that experience in the way, young folks use to do it. To take care that stuff like that never will happen again...... you can imagine. That's what I really love: Youth is taking care on that. Gives a good feeling.

Anyone else been to Auschwitz? Yes. And at Struthoff, too. Will never go there again. Too hard to stand. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Mike... Who's now going to log off and hide from the female population for a while... In general, the idea of the day But today, I am in good mood, and as right now my man confirmed he loves my very long hair and the brain sitting below that, it's OK. You just showed your own opinion. But: Why do men mostly have so short hair, if any? Don't they know that some parts are shrinking in the cold??? dudeist skydiver # 3105

- Jim I don't yet have a CHL, but I'm thinking about getting one. My mentality about the whole thing is "I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it." I would assume most people (that have a permit at least) see it the same way. Hi Jim We had a CWP just because we could but never carried, so when it was time for CWP renewal we let it expire saved $50/3 yr's. OTOH last month the chief of police's car was broken into and some slime ball stole the Chiefs work gun from his unmarked car. Do you really want to go someplace where you think you might need a gun, or lock the gun in you car when you don't need it and have some slime ball steal it. BTW the COP of seattle hasn't got his gun back yet R.I.P. R.I.P. Just for an alien: What is CHL, what is CWP? Thx for explanation. dudeist skydiver # 3105

. Frankly, I think the Taliban treated their women better than the Germans appear to be. Oh Lord, where are folks living? I love it. Nobody here in Germany is forced to enter into the sex industry. The owner of that brothel simply reported to labour exchange that an unemployed seems to be slacking, so should be punished with a lockout. As the owner is paying taxes for his employees, this is his right to do. He has to report it. Our laws state that someone, who is unemployed since a certain time (THAT, most important, is depending on his income before, the years he was employed before, how many children etc....) may not be allowed to refuse a proposed job. My girlfriend just lost her job after working for more than 15 yrs for same company. She has 2 kids still living with her. Her unemployment money now will be 67 percent of the average yearly income (for 14 months) plus each EURO 153 per kid for a time period of 780 days. Thats not that bad. And will not force her to sell her body in the streets.. But, it's getting rough over here, times are becoming harder and harder.... Perhaps, one day, if I should lose my job, I will do and try to live with the Talban? Or going to California? We are not living in stone ages, Mista Kelpdiver, you know? dudeist skydiver # 3105

I agree with this post and what Bill stated above. Germany has made it legal and state that they no longer see the act of prostitution as immoral. Unfortunately, thanks to Germanys attempt to, according to the article, "cut links to organised crime,"women will be forced to work the job or do something possibly more drastic to avoid it. I guess we'll see...I think it is rather disgusting myself, but in Germany I guess it's legal...::shrug::... ______________________________________________________________ Lady RoadRush, legally, in Germany not one girl is forced to do this job. The girls decide (or their "men" - and that mainly is illegal). Slow down, we are a modern, young industrial country. No slaves to do dirty works, no young girls to please the landlord, or whatever might be in imagination, If Mr. Clinton's mistress offered him a blow job, or Mrs. Browne offered the same to Mr. Hugh Grant, they made it with their own will. If such a job (or a similar one) is legal or illegal, it will be done in your and my country. Just deal with it. In other parts of the world, it's called biz: You offer, I pay. That was before you're born, it will be the same in thousand years. Don't blame it to the poor little German country. We do our best to help even our minorities. dudeist skydiver # 3105

"Those countries......." You really never heard/noticed/read about some differences in f.e.: cultures? Since thousands of years? Small differences which perhaps might make it impossible to install your democracy for everybody? In Iraq, f.e. ? Inconceivable. dudeist skydiver # 3105

And tax it. I wonder if the huge budget deficits Germany is accumulating due to their Socialism has anything to do with legalizing prostitution? In other political systems, "clients" like Hugh Grant pay a fine of $1200.- in case the get caught... dudeist skydiver # 3105

Since Jan. 2002, prostitution in Germany is to be considered like a legal employment/job. And no longer immoral. They now can pay into the unemployment and pension insurance fund, also even sue a "client" on payment. But as a huge share of girls are coming from East Europe, Russia etc., they still work illegal here, are working under hardest circumstances and pressures, simply are exploited. Prostitution is the "oldest job" on earth. Ask the customers of these girls , this job always will exist. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Iraq Voter Turnout Placed at 72 Percent
christelsabine replied to bodypilot90's topic in Speakers Corner
Believe me, I am happy about every and any improvement done in the Iraq affair. But same time, this morning the news said your president GWB, the glorious one, will increase number of his troops over there. And how! What is nice in this? Does really anyone believe that anything is won only by showing few nice pics in the news? We had many Iraqis voting here in my hometown. They were happy to vote. Of course, under police observation, it still is dangerous to vote as an Iraqi. And in TV, I saw Iraqis voting in Iraq. They seemed to be happy to vote, too. That is fully OK. But: Does really anyone believe the killings are over? From one day to the next? NO, it will increase same way like US troop numbers will be increased. What do you, not personally "you", do expect after votings in Iraq? What will be changed? Tell me. Tell me, before starting to dance around a bonfire too early. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
