I am surprised, not to say shocked! to realize how low is America(n)'s knowledge about "Europe" and "Germany". Generalization will not help "you" to really assess Europe or Germany. It needs more. At the very first, it needs more (liberal and university) education. Bad example of education over there. Even our 10 y/o children know much more about the US and the rest of the world.     BTW JohnRich, according to a today's press release (I will go back, check and let you know exactly which one, I think it was dpa/Reutters) victims of (the last 2) snipers for first time in US history will be able to claim for damages, amount in question is around 1.9 million Euros to be paid by "weapon dealers, weapon producers ". Nothing. "Our" kids know that. They do not need to be well trained on any weapons to live their life. My big boy (22 yrs) is preparing himself for a (every) Friday night's party, leaving the house sometimes at 23.30. Coming back somewhat next afternoon. Or 2 days later from his girlfriend. Just to have a look on that bird in your pic shows me what you did. That bird did not hunt that animal. That bird is much too young. In my country, you would not be allowed to own falcons.
