Student kills 5 at school and grandparents
christelsabine replied to ChasingBlueSky's topic in Speakers Corner
Correction, living in Europe means living in a free minded world. I love my personal freedom, just f.e., even telling my own chancellor he's an a***hole. That will cost some Euros but, what a goooood feeling: I told him! Go and tell buddy Georgie he is: You will find yourself quickly somewhere else w/o any return ticket. Come to Europe, find out about the personal freedom, in speech... go back to the US and tell your friends. That might open eyes of some people. I swear. To God. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Student kills 5 at school and grandparents
christelsabine replied to ChasingBlueSky's topic in Speakers Corner
First step could be to remove GWB and his buddies. Next, to take away any influence/power, the NRA and its members have on the local economy.. in one word: It never could be done. US folks are lost, lost in their own, home made traps. It's your culture, like JohnRich said in one of his posts. To change a complete culture, it will need hundred of years, like in Iraq, f.e.? But starting with GBW would not be the worst first step. Just a beginning. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Student kills 5 at school and grandparents

.... Isn't it ironic how some people think that you're a "nut" by having a gun handy to respond to a potential criminal attack, but those same people also think it's perfectly reasonable to always have a reserve parachute handy on every skydive? ... Yep. Gun is handy enough for a free access of any teenage kid going out killing others. That's handy, indeed. To compare that with the reserve at skydiving, that's "nut". It is perfectly reasonable to skydive with a reserve parachute. Unless I use the lines to throttle the one who just messed up a nice RW jump. MAO reading such a comparison of a gun lovers' supporter. BTW: You consider your normal life as dangerous as a skydive? Well, then I do understand: Always be prepared for the worst case. I prefer to be prepared for a fine jump. Not to be killed by neighbour's gun as his son is freaking out. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
5-Year-Old Cuffed, Arrested in Florida
christelsabine replied to justinb138's topic in Speakers Corner
Had the teacher and assistant principal dealt witht he situation, we'd be reading about a lawsuit against the teacher, AP, school, and school district for doign whatever was necessary to calm the kid down. Headline: "5 year-old, 40 pound weakling restrained by teacher and assistant principal in classroom." So, they called the police, who are the only agency authorized to use force to stop the sitaution, who face the same headlines. The likely scenario? That teacher and assistant principal were probably bound by the rules from doing anything other than attempting to reason with a five year old to stop the situation to avoid liability. The AP could have defended him/herself from gettign kicked, but didn't because of the great potential for liability from the mere act of self defense. C'mon. "Bound by rules"... We have rules too, in our schools. If this little devil of 5 yrs is going to strike her head against a wall, again and again... The teacher is going to call the sheriff? In order not to break "a rule"? Ridiculous. If a teacher is incapable to deal the situation with such a little girl, he/she should go home. What will happen one day if this girl is 15 y/o? Teacher will enter the class room in the morning with an AK-47?? Help me out, please. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
5-Year-Old Cuffed, Arrested in Florida
christelsabine replied to justinb138's topic in Speakers Corner
Wrong. Clearly there is more at work here. Did any of the other kids lose it like this? Regardless of whether shackling a 5 year-old is appropriate, her behavior was inappropriate. PERIOD! 2 year-olds get punished for that behavior, right? Mothers and fathers give corporal punishment. Obviously, there is much going on here. The teacher couldn't control the kid without probably resorting to some kind of violence. Enough time transpired for the following to occur: 1) Kid erupts and teacher attempts, but ultimately decides that teacher cannot control kid; 2) Call is made to assistant prinicpal, who proceeds to classrooom; 3) Assistant prinicpal attempts to control child and figures out he cannot; 4) Call is made to police; 5) Police attempt to control the child and finally do. How many other kids in that classroom could that kid have hurt. It was unreported whether the child did, but think about throwing books in a room full of 5 year-olds. Smashing things in a room full of 5 year-olds. Kicking teachers and assistant principals. This transpired over a period of minutes, people. This isn't some short 20 second spurt, or else the assitant principal wouldn't be implicated. Apparently, only the teacher and assistant principal had any type of injury. The girl was restrained. Threat neutralized with no physical harm to child, and threat of physical harm to the other children is neutralized. Okay, here's a question for all you Monday morning quarterbacks: "Since reasoning clearly did not work, what steps would you have taken to ensure that this child did not harm herself or other 5 year-olds?" Or, you can asnwer this one: "Should the kid be left to do what she wants until she tires herself out?" If my kid pulls shit like that, I may end up making a few stops on the way to the police station to get him. We'll likely be making a few stops on the way back home, too. Yeah, you caring sorts out there don't seem to give a rat's ass at what is happening to the other 30 kids in the classroom as this is going on, or what could occur. I hope the other parents sue the asses off of Momma Akins... Holy Moses, what was that? A complete indictment? A five years old little girl is charged with beeing danger to 30 others of same age, her teacher(s), the entire school, her home town: Only the sheriff and his equipment can solve that terrible situation.....? It's so sad but, I prefer to LMAO. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
5-Year-Old Cuffed, Arrested in Florida
christelsabine replied to justinb138's topic in Speakers Corner
The poor girl didn't do anything wrong, did she? Correct. She did what she learned, perhaps. Or watched in TV, perhaps. But ratio at that age? Forget it. She's still not more than a young dog hunting big cars. Your post is surprising me a little bit. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
5-Year-Old Cuffed, Arrested in Florida
christelsabine replied to justinb138's topic in Speakers Corner
Should I laugh or should I cry? A little girl, and nobody is really able to help her out of that outburst? Send the teacher home. What a shame to everybody involved. Now I start to understand why guns are required by so many. If people cannot even deal with a 5 y/o, how to deal with the adults? dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
I see it the other way round: The student placed his hand (surely w/o really knowing what his hand was doing) on the cutaway, the instructor removed it from there and tried to bend it backwards to pull position. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder
christelsabine replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
Ritalin over here is mainly used as a "therapy" on kids with hyperactive reactions. So, there is close connection to your actual thred. Mainly boys show that symptoms. There is help without using Ritalin. Pls have a look at the other thread about that. Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Next drug litigation goldmine for mass tort lawyers...
christelsabine replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
Yes. There is. My son was 3 y/o, when his doctor stated that diagnosis. In respect of him I will not enter into details. He had hard years of therapies (it ended, when he turned 14) of every kind. In the end, it worked. He still is full of live, needs to do sports every day but: thks God he's enjoying life. His doctor in the beginning tried to convince me to give him Ritalin. I always refused. I learned how to bake our own bread, preparing even ketchup, all without any foodstuffs additives. Then was coming his first schoolday. He just turned 6. As he was completely nervous and unable to sit for a second, I called his doc. She said: Come over here, I will give him one or 2 pills of Ritalin. I allowed her to give him just a half pill. Still today, I feel guilty as hell and could cry endless when watching the video of that special event. His First Schoolday! My little boy was sitting there, not moving, like a zombie. Hundreds of children, hundreds of parents, and my baby not moving, not smiling, not enjoying that moment. The look in his eyes was not the same like before. He was like beeing stoned. A zombie. I never did that again. We had hard works over many years, and today I would like to thank every specialist who worked with "us". Yes, it needs to be "us". The kid itself cannot help itself. Folks, do not give that shit drogue to your kids. My personal experience, my opinion. At every time, I would join my kid again on such a hard, rocky way. But never again with even half a pill of Ritalin. Take your time for your kids whenever they need help. Do not give away your personal resonsibility for your kids by using/giving them any drogues. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Holy Moly, Georgie, they withdraw...
christelsabine replied to christelsabine's topic in Speakers Corner
Hold your horses everyone! Our Prime Minister and master of hypocrisy extraoidinaire is already denying he ever said that. I'm suprised there are still people who listen to what he says, both home and abroad. Berlusconi seems to be a somewhat shady biz guy. A little bit lifted but, not that bad. Surely he's planning his movements, what ever those might be, in regards of coming elections this autumn. As Europeans are correct folks, they do listen to a country's big chief. We listen to GBW, too. So, why not to Silvio??? Salute. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -

GWB doesn't think there is a problem. Then again, GWB doesn't do a lot of thinking to begin with. Why should he? In 15 yrs, that mountain will be completely ice-free, no one will be able to judge the consequences/influences on eco systems. Georgie boy will have a last look into his bible and go to bed. That's it. Why should he ever break his head? Africa is sooo far away. dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
