    If you want to buy the helmet as a investment imo go ahead, but at your experience level you may just be adding another variable that can add to a chain of events that can get you hurt. Np Offence intended, but it's going to be a while before you have to worry about cranking mega points on a 4 way team and combat RW is definatly a option. You may want to do a search on the topic of Full face helmets in DZ.com their pro's and cons have been discussed in the past. BTW make sure the FFH comes with a gear bag so it does't get scratched up. You also need to consider the color of the FFH & gear bag so it will match the rest of your rig when you get one

    Genneral comment: After reading this whole thread, IMO Veter started off this thread because he was tired of listening to the folks at his DZ tellimg him to straighten up. When people in this thread tried to give him some advice Veter copped a attitude. Veter He thinks/knows he is always right and everyone else is wrong "He didn't forget to unstow his slider someone restowed it" With a attitude like that it's easy to see why he's on the list. Veters profile also includes some clues by the lack of info, ie # jumps and w/l. Might even be doing a lot of solo's? To bad. Do you have to jump at the ranch to bet on the pool? R.I.P.

    Hi Resis Electricity on a pole is very bad news "Back in the day" we had a first jump student landed on the powerlines with her body. I assume the electricity killed her as soon as she contacted the powerline, but she didn't fall to the ground and then there was a fire. The dangers of jumping around electrical lines has been discused on this site before. Not ragging on you

    Hi CK Lets see if a person living in the Nashville metro plex and wanted to make a Tandem they have a choice between Skydive Alabama, a 2 hr drive with a sweet looking turbine king air or driveing 4 hr's to "Above Nashville" Scratch head, scratch butt Scratch head, scratch butt Duh I think I'd choose..........Skydive Alabama and save myself a extra 4 hrs of travel time. The new DZ's name "Above Nashville" does have a frontline ring to it (Yellow pages Whats next a ad for "AAA skydiving school". R.I.P.

    A lot of DZ websights use the USPA logo as a "seal of approval" for the people looking for a "qualified, safe etc" DZ. Does the BOD decision mean that skyrides DZ's won't be able to use the Logo? Of course the DZ's will still have USPA rated instructor's and the skyride DZO's can start their own national skydiving organization with logo. Why should skyride mess with lawyers if the USPA issue doesn't hurt their bottom line, otoh....if it does. R.I.P.

    Hi ZZ S/l then AFF. What's next? Would it be just as much fun for some people who want to get into RW, FF, style just to do the tunnel. BTW I've never been to a tunnel) Advantages No buying gear No packing No weather holds No airplanes No hook turns or dirty jumpsuits No fatalities. Wanna skydive? Go to the tunnel Airplanes are soooo retro. so i guess the question is should a airplane be mandatory? R.I.P.

    Your correct, 35 fatalities/year in the US is a long term average. The only thing that changed was the percentage from the cause of the incident from: no pull/low pull to low turn OTOH last year was a record setting 21 fatalities in the US. Even 1 is to many but 21 is about 40% less than the average. Would be nice if the downward trend continues in future years. Based on this thread It looks like the low turn catorary may be overtaken by mid airs collisions. R.I.P.

    a person has no business having children if he/she fits into this pay bracket, in my opinion, of course. if you (general) can't shoulder the responsibility of having kids, then don't have any for god's sake!!
