  1. Hi Nate The view Every damn island is surrounded by water. Hope you got a good rubber ducky Dillingham field was a rough DZ for us due to the challenging wind conditions, and rotors off the tree line. Have a good one
  2. Hi EFS Looks like another well briefed relaxed tandem passenger, that has lots of confidence in his TM. R.I.P.
  3. Hi Bobsled Have you told Rhino about this R.I.P.
  4. Hi DB We like your style How about after you get your first skydiving tattooFor life FWIW if someone wants to call themselves a skydiver so be it. If someone wants to call themselves a cowboy thats ok to.
  5. HI VSG Check up on the city called victoria on Vancouver Island just a short ferry ride from Vancouver. By sept it should be off season and you might be able to get a deal on a 4 star hotel. The island is also the home of Buchart gardens. Vancouver also has a nice international district (not sure about after dark) parks etc. R.I.P.
  6. Hi JR Details, details I'm guessing that the local powers to be will come to their senses and allow the olympic handgun shooting events. However we've been wrong in the past R.I.P.
  7. Hi AT I'm sure if you & yours were doing the demo it would be good to go Wonder how much it cost them to get the court order R.I.P.
  8. Hi Cliff At least the guy got a response. I got a 15% off coupon from skyride and they still haven't returned my call Damn 15% off a Tandem is a hell of a deal. My puppy is going to be very disapointed she isn't going to be able to do a tandem. I refuse to pay "full price". R.I.P.

Hi PC Me thinks she was talking about giveing them "the look" aka bitch slap, not a look R.I.P.
  10. Lived in K.C. for about 10 yr's. Used to eat at Arthur's both befor and after he went to the big bbq in the sky. Facilities went upscale after Arthur left but the food and sause stayed the same. Damn I miss that place and the guy with the big hands. Good news is we got plenty of Arthur's sauce with us
  11. They "did it to save lives." The United States of America has a proven track record of nuclear weapons usage. Ask the Japanese if you're confused. How about judging morality against a set scale? t We also read that the US was prepared to use chemical weapons if we had to attack mainland Japan,to save american lives. Now we goy a bunch of that 60+ yr old crap thats a PIA & $$$$ to destroy. R.I.P.

    My first cavity

Hi Tdog Had to take the dog in to the vet due to swelling around her muzzle. We didn't have a clue and was real concerned. Turned out to be broken tooth thay had gotten infected. The vet removed the tooth, kept the pooch over night etc. $450. Glad we tool a pass on the root canel and crown. Sad we forgot to get the tooth for the tooth fairy. We still have our wisdom teeth and the dentist insisted on showing us the X-rays. G-dam look at this one . all four wisdom teth are inside the jaw bone or something.....Sooooo lets leave well enough alone
  13. Hi John We had a great time visiting with you the wife and most of the kids. It's nice to see two DZ's located so close to each other get along so well. Kudo's to the DZO's and the skychicks on the new record
  14. Just a quick note most Skydiving centers charges a cancellation fee. Most of them will not even give a grace period but ASC does give you a period of time that you can cancel. If that is a scam then I guess skydive center across the country should be accused of the same thing. Hi Tinkerbell I'm not going to play the lawyer game about your statement above. But Once upon a time we were lurking the manifest desk when some old folks showed up and we watched manifest fork over a handful of cash. Asked manifest Watsup Kids had gotten a Tandem gift certificate for mom's B-day and when dad found out. They called ahead of time and stopped by for the cash
  15. Hi kele The people in Seattle can't even drive in the rain If it snows R.I.P.

  18. I'm sure you know some people do their own gear checks, because they don't like folks messing with their gear once it's own. Due to the reserve pin location on a racer a self pin check is required. Sounds like you need to review you procedures so you don't forget the pin check & to turn on the cypress again. Father knows you best and has your best interests at heart. Whatever you dad decides is good enough for me. Don't worry be happy! Worse things could have happened and you got a long career ahead of you. Pay attention, don't screw up and enjoy it.
  19. I agree now It's ok for a quickie if you got to, but it's nothing you'd want to give up the wife/husband/SO for. We can take it or leave it. I think this is the same attitude that a lot of folks have about a lot of things after we get older. We wake up one morning and say WTF!!. Maybe it's burnout If I'm not happy at the DZ so why am I doing this every weekend? We can spend our time and money looking for/doing something else that will make us just as happy
  20. Hi BV Don't know about closing down their call centers, but they appear to be having a staffing shortage. They promised to return my call in 1/2 hr and we'll be coming up on the 1/2 month anniversery and still no phone call Lucky for us the 15% Tandem coupon is good for a year so we can wait by the phone until they get caught up with their backlog. R.I.P.
  21. Note to self Unplug all electricital gadgets going to aquarium before sticking your hand in the water. Failure to follow this simple rule could be ing. I wonder if the fish floating belly up is a clue? R.I.P.
  22. Hi Leroy Nice bird, winder howmany mile/gal it gets. Can't afford a hanger Queen. The sellers websight does have some other cool stuff how about a Free standing 300' antenna, no fuel required once you get it delivered and a erection
  23. Hi folks The history channel covered this subject on the 60'th anniv of dropping the A-Bomb. Prior tp the A-Bomb we had killed more civilians in one air raid dropping fire bombs on the japanese paper houses. Some people think we dropped the A-Bomb to show Stalin that we had nukes and weren't afraid to use it, and if that nut case wanted to go after us we'd drop the next A-Bomb on the dirty russian commies. Why did we drop the A-Bomb on the japanese, rather than just fire bomb them? How the hell do we know.? R.I.P.
