Hi John IMO no on rebuilding NO. The politicans are just doing what they do talking "we'll build it bigger and better". I'm hope once they look at the cost in human life and suffering that was caused by mother nature at the present location of NO. The $$$$ cost & time to rebuild at the same location, with the same potential losses due to mother nature, the politicians will come to the senses and find a better place for a bigger and better NO. R.I.P.

Hi folks To try and keep the thread on topic, about whining about the price of gas meanwhile people are dieing by the minute for lack of water, medical attention etc, I'll address the username slug. The U.S. is a big place Some peope got it good some don't own a pot to piss in, no mass transit , no way to get to a job, no options. In the US it's not uncommen for people to drive 100km ea way to work daily. How do people commute to work in poland and when was your mass transit system built. R.I.P.

Hi Spence Things will never go back to normal. When you dead thats forever. When you lose your family thats forever The number of people affected by this will be enormous. Hi SR The only reason the flood waters aren't rising is because water is lazy and will reach it's own level. Watching this situation is like watching a horror movie. We've seen 100 yr floods in the Midwest within a couple of yr's of ea other. The local politicans are saying we promise we will rebuild. Save the living, try and minimize the suffering, and plan for the future so the next time mother nature does it's thing the majority of the people are living on high ground. thats all fine and dandy until you end up in the "liability" crap now a days. Lets face it, i'm ordering gear that is definately safe for my situation, and in some peoples eyes too conservative (i'd rather be safe than sorry) but when you figure in the legal sue happy shit now-a-days it totally sucks. for instance, if a harness were to fail... would i WANT to be alive after that? come on. A reserve's rating, yeah I can see the situation but alot.....never mind i'm a unhappy camper at the moment. Hi AT Don't sweat what the fashion queens have to say about gear. Get gear that can get you back to the packing mat in one piece. Find other big folks to jump with Have fun R.I.P.

We had to do some work in our attic this year, and made a point to do it befor summer. Can't imagine being stuck in a attic being scared shitless not knowing for how long and thinking your going to die. Very ugly situation in NO. R.I.P.

Hi Gemini We had our induction physical at the same induction center as Arlo (Whitehall st.) Just like you said it was right on target, except IMO for us at the time it was happening it was still funny Standing in a very long line (very early in the morning) in your underware. A bunch of army dudes barking instructions in a foreign language to a bunch of 18 Y.O.'s that knew they were going to be classifed 1A. After they got poked, proded, yelled at Whatever BTW we were classified 1SH by our draft board.....For 6 month's R.I.P. FWIW we bought the DVD from Amazon.

Hi Gemini No refrigeration, no water, no food I can understand the folks stuck in the flooded, damaged, inacessiable areas "saving the perishables" befor they spoil and folks need to survive But looting stores for profit just because you can is wrong. Not sure what their going to do with all that crap when they get thirsty and hungry. If they have to be relocated they won't be able to take that stuff with them R.I.P.

Are you talking about the miniforce rings that Aerodyne uses? if so, they are supposed to reduce the force needed to cut away. Hi ID Thanks for the response I was talking about the ring that looks like a "8" so I'm guessing miniforce it is

Hi FO "military, do many bases have jump clubs" You can do a search on this websight, but AFAIK the answer is no if your asking about the the military supplying gear and aircraft and jumping on post/base, We have heard that some military facilities will support a Demo team, gear practice jumps etc. We started with a Air Force jump club, but had to jump at the local DZ. R.I.P.

Hi 777 Jumpsuit with Boobie's he's a guy. Check out Amazon's pic Her jumpsuit got some big Booties but she's a gal. See the difference Where was I. Me thinks the wings are for fall rate (wing wars) boobies are for drive, and turning. IOW the jumpsuit they used for a pattern probably didn't have booties or boobies I'm so confused Don't even ask about the inside leg grips I'm not going to hold onto his/her chest strap out the door....... Hi Folks Discussing the spelling of the neighborhood reminds me of the progress Isreal and PA have made getting along with ea other over the last 50+ yr's. At one time neither group would acknowledge the other one existed. The PA and isreal has come a long way to get to this point. I'm sure there will be some setbacks but hopefully theyll be able to continue to make progress and live in peace. R.I.P.
