Hi Tom Thanks for the link. Interesting Whatever happened to the urban legend that skydivers don't sue skydivers That was a joke!!!!!! -
You may have a point there. The other mikee is kind of scarey looking. That look in his eyes is kind of a cross between a drooling child molester and a crazed serial killer look. Not only is he a lawyer and political appointee, but he went to Harvard. Yuk--where do they find these guys?!!! Walt Political appointees are found in the bucket brigade of whatever party is in power. M&M: Mikee & Mikee were water boy's for the elephant in the past so they got their political appointments. The Dems (Donkey) have water boy's also, the dems lost the election so it just wasn't their time. Their still hauling water to feed the donkey so they'll get their turn. Is it true that GW isn't going to run for re election? R.I.P.

You have to look at the economics of it. For example, let's say that I have to deal with 100 Muslim terrorists and I'm trying to figure out whether to appease them by buying each one a sandwich (not ham!!!) or shoot them. Depending on the kind of gun, I might spend $1500 (USD) on the gun and $500 on ammunition for a total of $2000. That works out to $20 per Muslim terrorist. At first glance, it would appear that buying the sandwiches would be the far better deal because I could spend $2 per sandwich for a total cost of $200, or 1/10 of the cost of the gun and ammunition. The problem is that as soon as the Muslim terrorists get hungry again, they'll want more sandwiches. A bullet, on the other hand, is a permanent fix--not just a short term solution. Plus, now that I have the gun, ammunition is relatively inexpensive so my additional costs will be minimal. Walt Hi walt Intersting math We don't use none of that cheap shit ammo. Those are RPG prices We use smart bombs, airplanes, choppers, AC carriers, subs, contracor's etc. The military arms complex is big $$$. Ask clay. R.I.P.

Hi Mama photoshop, photoshop, photoshop. But it is some funny shit and we need some humor for a break. I don't think very many peeps will believe it was a real NO photo op. R.I.P.

Lets spin it due to the scope of katrina Mikeeehas been given some extra help so that he can devote his energy to his job as the head of FEMA. And fill out his resume R.I.P.
-
We heard a nasty rumor that GW won't run for re election Bush bashing or true R.I.P.
-
Hi Walt Poor mikee this wouldn't look good on his Resume. Losing two Jobs in a row. Lets give him a break and let him can take over as head of HSA from the other mikee (also a lawyer), so he can show us what he can do. R.I.P.
-
Hi Tom Tankless is more energy efficent. No water pressure, HWT in lower part of house which could be flooded to bad so sad. If your concerned about getting caught dry you could use some of the moey you save on you electric/gas bill and stock up on bottled water or beer. R.I.P.
-
They clearly didnt know WTF they were doing... Seeya Sorry nate They knew what they were doing when they appointed the lawyers (water boy's for the elephant). Mikey Browns buddy the previous head of FEMA is now lobbying for the contractor's looking for work with FEMA Both leaders in both political parties appoint their cronies when their in charge. Politic's as usual. BTW Cheney is acting like a comedian on his vist to the gulf coast today. Nothing to do with his politic's he is what he is. Scary shit R.I.P.
-
Bill The local politicans are already in deep water The lawyers and locals will sue but that's why there's a trial. it might even be less expensive to buy them off (times beach & the love canal.) then trying to clean up the polluted large area that's downstram of the pumps in NO. If the local fishing industry goes south as a result of the pollution from the pumps the fishing industry will sue. Cheaper to treat the hazardous waste where's its at. The folks with the Degas took rhem them or were insured. I know confusing the issue with the facts Pump on, help has arrived R.I.P.

Hi John From your clicky "This is not the time to give a weak performer the benefit of the doubt. The FEMA director's role in the ongoing recovery effort is too important to be entrusted to a clueless political hack with such poor judgment." We were working for the EPA in region 7 when Jimmy Carter was replaced by Ronnie Reagon. The democratic EPA regional director was immediatly replaced by a republican appointee. After the appointment we found out the new regional director of EPA had been a barber in Ks. The senators from ks were questionsed about the mans qualifications and the press was told that he had been a water boy for the elephant for a long tme and it was time for im to be rewarded. This type of appointment is done by both political parties. The best folks don't always get selected for these high level positions it's it's the folks with the best connections. Just the way it was, is, and will be. Politic's as usual Rebulcans, democrates, liberals, conservatives don't mean nothing. R.I.P.

Hi Bill I agree. But what can we do until the next election. We need help in the short and long term. I hope the current administration and the american public can get there act together. In a meaningful way, no BS, photo ops, politics etc. I'm afraid of the future, we've found the enemy and it's us. R.I.P.

Hi heidi There's lots of confusion during the fog of battle. Were the choppers actually being shot at, don't know, maybe yes maybe no. Has anyone seen a chopper in NO with bullet holes? Back in the day, or once upon a time, we were in a place we didn't want to be A crewmember saw a rocket being launced in our direction Almost shit my pants. What the guy actually saw was the tracers from one of our gun ships (in the air) hoseing the bad boys down. I'm not second guessing why the choppers didn't go in if they thought they were being fired on thats good enough for me. Is the chopper/hospital story a myth? I do know the rumor about the banks being closed on monday was true. R.I.P.

hi Hook Who cares about who said what, don't confuse the issue with the facts there will be plenty of time for that later. Just agree to disagree for now and after the water evaporates we'll get to the bottom of NO. This is SC please resume with the argueing w need more comic relief. Satire, gotta hand it to you guy's R.I.P.

Hi You all That was some funny shit. Good work

Time will tell how "static" the level will be. As someone has already said dilution is NOT the solution to pollution "static" means not increasing. As I suspect is happening in Lake New Orleans right now. And I said nothing about relying on dillution. But you stop the ongoing contamination first. And if we intend to resettle people there, the sooner we stop these chemicals from seeping into the ground there (it's not all concrete, and concrete isn't the same as stainless steel anyhow) the better. A million people versus a lake? Sounds like an easier call than most. Hi kelp Interesting Pumping the hazardous material into the lake isn't "Stopping the ongoing contamination" it's doing the opposite. If the levee's are plugged than the hazardous materials are contained in a harzardous waste lagoon, where they can be treated. Million people? There was a million people in NO before. Their no longer there. I don't have a clue where NO used to get their drinking water from. Some of the bad stuff is/was floating on the top of the lagoon, the heavy material settled to the bottom. Some soluble material may go underground buT it can be (if needed) pumped out and treated. This is basic hazmat 101 stuff. if theirs a contaim the spread of contamination. Your in charge, you don't want to listen, you decide, do what you want to do. History will be the judge R.I.P.
