How can I tell what version is on mine? I can't wait to jump with this thing!! And, it came with the small o-ring assembly. Fits so perfectly! Looks so sweet in white, too! Now I gotta add my freefall time for the last 80 jumps. lol!! lol! Angela. -
I HAVE flown that wingload...And wingloads almost TWICE that. A person with 50 jumps should not be under a 1.35 wingload....And I AM an INSTRUCTOR, have a PRO RATING and have more less than perfect landings than you have jumps. Now what ya got to say? A bit angry, are we? Your educated opinion is that no one with 50 jumps should be at 1.35. You are entitled to your opinion, you have enough experience to give those types of opinions. I do not. I have never flown at that w/l, I have limited time in the sport and have not seen people of low #s jump high w/l's and screw themselves into the ground, or make it out fine. This is why I said I don't presume to judge. There was no need to come out with "Now what ya got to say?". Later, Angela.

Fair enough. But, how can people on a website, knowing nothing about xx jumpers progression or the instruction at his dz, question his instructors ability to put him under an appropriate wing? Angela.

And, this has been argued many times. I don't see the point of this post I guess. To start a flame fest? I don't necessarily think that a person with xx jump should be under a 1.35 w/l... but then, I have not flown at a 1.35w/l, so I can't make that call. Angela.

Ditto all of the above, minus the living in Canada and not being able to spell. lol! Angela. -
OMG!! 1.35, That thing is gonna kill him in his sleep for godsake! Seriously, you have no idea what program he's in. There are many dzs that are that progressive and he may be at one of them. I'm sure his instructors know best... or at least better than you do. Anyone ever heard the term, myob? If you don't know the situation, don't assume it is a fucked up one. Have you ever flown a 1.35w/l, btw? Angela.

You : a) like to argue and this is fun for you, acting as if you've made no such reference... or b) like me, you've got major short-term memory loss, and need to re-read what you've posted. Angela.

Yes, i'm also curious as to what caused you to need a total ankle replacement. Obviously, more than a sprain. Please post details. thx. Angela.

lmao! I've got about 9 pairs of beads hanging from my rearview mirror in my car. Angela.

Please take this to PM. This thread is not about your problems with Michele. Sorry, but this is a classic case of getting off topic. This thread is about when people feel discouraged. If you have something to add, great! Tell us how you were discouraged at xxx jumps and why, and how you got over it. Or, how you feel discouraged now because of problems you're having with such-n-such... But, if you're just here to pick fights, then please don't. This is not talk back. Thanks:) Angela.

AHHH... This is great!! lol! Angela.

You forgot cypres', rsl, incidents of any type and jump #s. :D Angela.

Thanks, Michele! Colbrodie, I hear ya. . . I need to do that more often! pccoder, as much as i'd like to take credit for that 4-way,... really, I did not have much skill. I went on the dive with some very skilled individuals who made it work! Kramer said that i'd need that for one of my licenses,... i'm glad I did it then, cuz lord knows I probably couldn't pull it off now, lol! It was nice to read that post, though. Just to remember that it wasn't that long ago that I started all this. I have come a long way in 7 months. Like so many people said, I need to put things in perspective. I may not be flying on my head or swooping the pond, but I am on my way to greatness... even if it is a long slow road

Thanks, everyone! I ordered from The Monkey's Tree Gear Store, great price, excellent service! And, I will have my new Neptune tomorrow! :D I am so excited. I will be playing with this thing all weekend! And will post about it soon:) Thanks again! Angela. -
I thought we talked about the ankle thing?.. I am telling you, man. For chronic joint pain, PROLOTHERAPY! I am thinking of getting it in my knees, too. I don't even know my ankle was ever injured now. I will reply in the other thread I started, too. I'll probably see you this weekend, Jeff. I am getting pretty excited that my BRAND NEW NEPTUNE will be here tomorrow.! Life gets you down sometimes, ya know? I'm not the best skydiver, the more I study the worse I seem to do on tests at school,... then, to top it off, my job actually found work for me to do And, I am trying to find schools I want to go visit and i'm getting frusterated that I am not sure if i'll make a good Engineer, and i'm scared I won't get into my school(s) of choice. So, it's just a bunch of stuff compiled that has put me in a bad mood. But, did I mention I am getting a Neptune tomorrow? :D That ought to keep me busy a while:) Thanks all! Angela.

Thanks, Liz! I am cheering up as we speak. You are so awesome! I can't wait 'til you come back so we can get at least a jump in. I may not be the best skydiver... but, I do rock! Thanks girl! Angela.
