    I can understand that side of it, but dogs and cows just aren't the same. I guess i'm biased cuz i've never owned a cow, but dogs are almost people to me. Can't they breed some farm animal? I mean, it's like eating a dolphin or something. Angela.

    I signed the petition. The thumbnail pix are pretty sick, I wouldn't dare click for the full view. Read the article, too, and I think it is ok to read. Pretty sick to do this to dogs! :( I love my baby and have had large dogs in the past and just can't see how anyone can kill a dog. Sad. Angela.

    I feel that way, too, sometimes. (shoot, I only have like 30-somthing credits, and work full time so can't school full time). But, it's so great to be learning, I took the semester off cuz I didn't get FA, and I figured i'd get a 2nd job and save $$... but I wish i'd gotten in cuz i'm losing a semester and as awful as it sounds, I actually miss calculus. (shhhh). Hang in there! Angela.

    I can't answer this because I don't know how much it takes to become a coach versus to become an instructor . But, I am working on getting my A license using the 2-sided card, and I think it is quite enough stuff to have signed off. I know this isn't a debate about which card is better (or is it?), but I just thought i'd mention that in reply to Luna. I think that it definitely weeds out the weak, and I see no reason to put it down thinking it will breed of unsafe divers.     When I got into reefkeeping a local helped me out with lots of stuff, coral frags, etc. When I got out (for the most part), I sold everything really cheap, gave some corals away to people just starting, etc.. It is a good feeling to be able to give back. What goes around comes around! I couldn't bring myself to make an online plea for free gear. I like that she noted that she couldn't afford cheap, even having a purchase history as posted by Phillykev. . . otoh, If she is able to make the plea, more power to her and the person who feels she is a worthy cause... who am I to judge?     Magik, yea, I hear ya. I was upset by having to upsize to the 230, and I didn't even fly that perfect b4 I wanted the 190 back again. But, the 230 felt awful compared, so I was happy to get back on the 190. I'm not trying to put myself under something that's gonna kill me. I realized I better learn to fly better when I read skymama's about not letting the canopy fly you. I should have more control, and I don't think I have it... so i'm gonna keep on the 190 for now and see if I can feel more in control of where I go, rather than just standing up where I land:) Thanks for your concern, hope you don't think i'm a total prick for asking the question about when it is appropriate to downsize, guess I just felt like, hey, I can stand up landings, so I should be able to downsize... when in reality, there is a lot more I should be able to do b4 downsizing.     Awesome you're moving to Deland!! I envy you! I wish I could move to Deland, but alas, i'd have to find a job with comparible pay/benes and i'd also have to break my current lease (which i've come to find out will cost me about 2800$). ..So, I will stay in S. Fla for now,... only 4 hrs away, not so bad. You visit there and decide to move? I was just up there a week ago and never wanted to leave... even looked into employment and breaking my lease (see above). Good luck with your move and finding a nice place!     Definitely, skymama!! I agree 100%! I think trimming is the least u guys can do,... or just go without oral, ... and noone wants that. I've only had to actually ask one guy, seems most guys i've been with just so happen to shave or trim. (thank goodness!) Angela.
