sometimes i take some stills for my own pleasure with premiere, but the quality is very bad and you anyhow have to de-interlace them with an other program like photoshop. I would not sell those.

As of March 1st 2002, Skydive Empuria are introducing a form of Freefly licence called Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) It will be necessary for Freeflyers of all levels to have some form of licence if they want to jump with anybody other than an instructor. CBT has been set up according to the French B4 licence and it also has similarity to the British FF1 & FF2. more infos can be found on the babylon page: http://www.babylon-freefly.com/Safety.htm
-
just one last thought... before you wanna do FF in Empuria with others you have to get the blessing of babylon. It's not a big deal.. those guys just wanna ensure you'll be safe.

have you checked within general setting -> properties there is a tick box for play options... by default it plays on your screen and camera which make things often choppy
-
thx sooner or later I'll learn how to use the functionality of the forum

I had to do a tandem vid, and when I asked the passenger what kind of music he prefer he told me clearly there is only 1 style of music he wanna have on his video... it is hard to describe how the music sounds like to give you an idea here is a link to some sound samples http://www.appenzellermusik.ch/appenzellermusik_d/index_d.htm can you imagine how the vid looks like now

all I can say is.... I own a G3 and it is one of the best rigs I ever had... I really like it, and never had any issues with. And think about the price different.. that's quite a lot of jumps
-
Are you able to adjust your camera angle for different flying positions...? Thinking about filming head down need another angle than filming a tandem or track dive.

I am currently using s simple bonehead optic with a Sony pc9 side mounted, thought I can attach a still on the flat top of it
-
Folk.. just wanna say thanks for all your help and suggestions. All of your recommendations are a good point to start with.
-
just checked the internet on the recommended canon rebel camera... wooow looks not bad at all and is cheap :-) This will be definitely one of those I want to check at the local store Thx for your recommendation
-
thx... that's a valid point.. never thought about the quality of the pics have not expected that there will be huge difference in regards to quality between a cheap and an expensive still camera...thought it is more features related. However a Canon sounds good and should be compatible with byte switch as well.

just to give you an idea how it works in other regions (Swiss) a tandem ride cost CHF 380 .- if the customer want to have a video he has to pay extra CHF 150.- the video man get the whole CHF 150.- but has to pay his slot (which is CHF 40.-), doing all the editing stuff

Hi I'm looking for your suggestion which still camera (not digital) you would recommend to buy. Should be as cheap as possible. Primary use is for FF and Tandem stills
