  3. nice pics ... just curious where have you been? that logo on the plane at your exit jpg looks familiar to me
  4. sure it is somehow the head, but on the other side you need different angles of your camera for eg. hd and td vids.
  5. guess that's the reason why you got it with your capture card ... however it is a good deal and premiere 6 is a great tool. I'm currently using v6.5 and looking into getting v7 hopefully soon
  6. I dreamed about skydiving since I was a child... some years ago I suddenly had the opportunity to do a tandem organized by the company I'm working...for sure I took the chance and I was soooo enthusiastic about that I decided to learn skydiving and feel how it is to jump out from an airplane without someone on your back
  7. break off usually at 4500 depending how big the group is as bigger as higher and then on different stage
  8. yep i agree with the majority... I have 2 protracks and love both of them
  9. depending what we are jumping... e.g. when we jump the cessna I'll dive after the tandem porter I usually do a float exit and heli... normally staying outside and going on my back or a float exit, very nice shots, because there is no real wind and you can nearly keep the speed of the tandem from the early beginning ok... sometimes not but close to
  10. well done... love to see your picture
  11. there is nothing much I can say more about.... I'm filming a lot of Tandems here in Switzerland... usually a vid has to be something between 10 and 15 minutes, also getting a lot of shots on the ground when the passenger get ready and doing some exercises in the grass.. walking to the plane or heli... than some nice shots of the plane which I took before as well as how the plane takes off. The rest is more or less how Deuce described it. blue skies
  12. Usually best will be get some coaching jumps and train what you have learned by your own, than go back and get the next skills to learn. enjoy and have fun
  13. there is nothing more to say... well dicribed
  14. yep the vichy track was just GREAT... I was one of them and there are no words to describe how we felt.
  15. congrats.... and don't worry about your legs ... thats usual and we all (or most of us) started like this keep up the good work blue skies
  16. at the beginnig easiest for me was just turning my head into the direction i wanna move... you will see it works
  17. yep I agree... look at your upper body position, check also your legs ( have an angle more than 90 degrees and have your legs not together as more as you open your legs as more stabile you get ) And last but not least practice as often as you can it is not always that easy as it looks like If you can't hold it get to a ball position and start again from there ( remember never go on your belly when doing ff except when pulling )
  18. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3112095.stm has some infos.. might help blue skies Frank
