Hi, I usually climb completely out of the basket. holding on the top edge and my feats outside the basket, facing the other jumpers. when exiting just let go and DON'T jump ... just let go else you will not be very stable. some balloon pics

Should i get the Sony DCR PC 109E??
flyingfrog replied to HIGHSPEEDDUDE's topic in Photography and Video
even if not.. this was never an issue of sony cameras I'm aware of, as the charger can handle 110V - 220V -
For Tandem-Vid I mostly use "Danger Zone" for the ride in the plane and "Sandstorm from Darude" for Freefall"

Who is offering DVD to the students?
flyingfrog replied to dsbbreck's topic in Photography and Video
I offer DVD as well, but based on the fact that VHS tapes much more expensive then DVD I do not charge more -
and also have in mind that doing video is only half of the work... get familiar with video editing progs, and you already could start getting a sound library etc.

I've got one... there are some pros and cons from my point of view: cons: * custom colour is flaking off * bonehead d-Box (older version) does not fit at all e.g. flat helmet and round box, camera does not fit tight pros: * baking option * fit well * thin for a video helmet

there are two ways I know about how to archive what u want in Photoshop. 1.) U could record an action, by doing it once and than run this recorded action with your other images 2.) I'm not sure how it's called in the English version (using German) ... but you should find something like batch job within the file menu, which takes all photos from 1 folder and apply what you want and save them into another folder hope this helps a bit blues frank

I've got the Sonic MYDVD as well with my burner, and I'm using it currently.. it is easy to use and you can do quite quick menus and starting screens. If you are looking for something more professional, I suggest to have a look at Adobe Encore DVD which is working close together with the other Adobe Products like Premiere

I've been in Ecuador last year with ESA, we had a great time and a lot of fun. And jumping from a Herc is always special. Regarding the price... OK you possibly could jump for less somewhere .. but the idea of having vacation and jumping at a beautiful place is worst the money. ESA is always organizing trips beside jumping which is much appreciated by all participants, so you have a chance to see the country and meet the people We met a bunch of great people and it is going to be kind of a family, meeting everybody every year. There was 1 con last event: Freefly organisation... unfortunately there was nobody shown up for FF and we had to look for our own. All RW groups had have an organizer + video man. However we had fun, and that's the most important part

generally I agree with the comments above, but... and u know there is always a but all is depending of the size of he group.... e.g. if you are planing to have a huge track dive you should consider to break off in different stages and never turn more than 90 degrees, because you can race into your friends which are possibly behind you And this has to be briefed in details before the jump

hoping i found a solution for premiere 6.5 and Windows XP
flyingfrog replied to Unutsch's topic in Photography and Video
just an additional thought.... i experienced closely the same issue when I forget to unmark the option to let the video not play on the camera as well guess u know what i mean --> general option/playback settings or so... sorry can't check haven't premiere handy in the office -
just wanna give u my 2cents on premiere pro... I have installed the progi yesterday and played a bit around with, there are so many changes that I have decided to step back to the former version 6.5. It might take some more time than just a night to get used to the new deign and features

Hmm than have u chosen the wrong company ... when we organize something it is usually between CHF. 90 and 110.- let me know if u need some further details

never had it top mounted... and side mount works great for me.. so why change something, and beside that I feel it is easier to adjust your camera to different angels depending what you are going to film next
