I totally agree with the bungee part.... However I've got a slightly different theory behind it. When I skydive it's all up to me and my skills to safely get a canopy above my head... And if I mess up then I've got a backup. With a bungee attached to my ankles, well if it snaps I'm going head down into (best case) paralysis.... Horses.... Well 1000 lbs of stupid meat.... Funny you should mention Germans...Its a Stihl 034 with a 30"bar and I just sharpened it too.. Thank god it wasn't a Husqvarna then (Swedish manufacturer) But yeah... That's what German stuff will cause you... You can never go wrong when blaming something on the Germans Trying to be a bit more careful in the future, right??? Usually I am... this one just jumped up and bit me... really odd way it happened Really ate a good pair of jeans too... oh well another pairof cutoffs.....the hard way A quite an expensive way of getting cutoffs But it could have been worse.... Glad it wasn't!!

Kayaking.... Seems nice, never tried it myself but some day I just might.. I can imagine its pretty intense going down some white water in. Just take it easy and listen to what the back is telling you and all should be fine
