Everyone has free will (Unless they are in school or prison) You can make things happen for yourself. Hey, Thanks for this update. Is there anything in the pipeline in terms of cures yet apart from the current ARV's that are just prolonging life? I know the preventative is great, but Africa is so far gone that the full blown AIDS is so bad there is no turning back. We need cures? Let me know if there is any news on that horison. Spending more time with friends and family. I do try to make a special effort sometimes, but I know deep down it is not enough. Maybe a normal relationship with someone.... I would love to tell you that it is not a concern, as I feel that you have a right to feel how you do. If this guy is more like a brother and like you said, barely made it to a kiss, then you should see their relationship more like a sister brother connection, and not worry about a sign off. If, and there is a big if, there are scenarios that make you more uncomfortable, like them talking about shagging or making crude comments that would allow you to get mad. I was on the other end of an infidelity and there were warning signs coming from mars! Things like the other person not respecting your time as a couple. Sunday night TV, and the damn phone won't stop from all the text messages, was the biggest clue that they were more than friends. If she allows you into their friendship, then accept that. I have many male friends that people see we have a more than friendship connection, but eeeuuu! I would never think of getting sexual with them. We even have sex conversations, which normally help both parties with some advice on the other species. So basically, if it is innicent enough messages and mails, it is not worth the rising blood pressure. If you suspect more by the tone and content of the messages, then raise it. Then drop it. Hold a minute, it works the other way around too, what if every chick you have ever come across say that are are on the rebound and never got involved with you on a long term or short term basis. It all depends what you want out of the relationship. If you are in love with the person then BAD idea, although you get to spend good time with them, which can lead to good memories. But it can turn nasty if you put any perssure on them - They will run. If you are just in it for the shag, then great, a friend in need....... I resigned a month ago from my company 'cause I realised that I was doing so much more than I was initially employed to do, and I hated all the additional roles I had to perform. So I am starting my own company focusing on the core role that I enjoy and am good at. Now I don't feel so stupid and inadequate. But it is way scary, I don't know where my next pay check is coming from, but everything will happen if you work hard and stay positive. Oh, and network, tell people what you are up to.... Ah yes, the SA guys taking over Florida, We managed tog et away with a 6 month reserve pack job (As is rule in SA) because of the SA guys there. CI at Deland is South African. Played with Chromy in the tunnel too!! Man need to get away from the carrot sticks. I suppose they all miss the fruit and veggies from here, as well as the Marie's, Mrs Balls and Biltong. Ouch, I am not into the casual sex thing, and I really have to like the guy. Not really a big drinker, so I cannot blame the beer. I am really talking about dating - trying for the longer term thing. Hell Yea! We are 5000ft asl and we have to give a serious briefing to people of all experience levels if they come from a DZ from sea level or just above. We have also had many hurt ass's, ego's and a few broken bones from people who don't listen and hook it at their normal level. The ground is also very ahrd at that altitude and not very forgiving. I have checked my rig in many times with no issues, although we did have some mates that did not make the connecting flights and we had to wait for the next flight to bring the rest of the luggage. I am not so keen on the carry on with no bag idea, passengers get twitchy. If you are keen, pack your weights, knives etc in with luggage and take a small parabag with you onto the plane.
